I just started to use it only been about three or four days. I haven't really noticed a difference yet other than my skin texture which is a little bit smoother. I will update when I use more consistently and have longer use. I'm hoping it helps to reduce or eliminate my melasma.

I struggled with acne for about 2-3 years. I am in my mid-30s, and after battling acne and nothing working, I finally decided to visit a dermatologist. My dermatologist gave me an amazing skin care regimen that included this serum during the day and night. The price was a little whoa, but I have been using it for less than a month, and all of my acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and redness are gone. My face looks brighter. My skin is looking and feeling amazing.

I struggle with melasma. I am on my second bottle of the Brightening Serum. I feel like this serum helps to keep the pigmentation more at bay. It has definitely made a difference. My only complaint is that I dropped the bottle and it came apart. I was able to put it back together; however, the pump is not working. I still have plenty of product left but cannot access it.

It is my second purchase of this dermatologist-recommended, splurge-worthy brightening serum. When used as directed, it works over time. My 60+ year-old skin is noticeably brighter and more luminous. A stubborn brown sunspot on my cheek has also disappeared along with hyperpigmentation. If you are on the fence, have patience and reasonable expectations—it works.

This product is absolutely incredible. I am currently 25, battling sun damage on my face. I have very sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin. This product was able to remove dark spots and discoloration not only quickly but without any irritation or peeling. I have tried everything, and nothing effectively and painlessly worked until this. I love this and will continue to use it in my AM and PM routines!

This has really improved my skin in just an 8-week period. It removed all the unevenness and skin damage and discolorations that I had accumulated over the years. It has a beautiful, luxuriant texture and makes you glow. I was going to have the broken capillaries and patches of rosacea removed with treatment next month, but it is all pretty much gone! I am on a constant quest for a good brightening cream. I suffer from melasma, and it has been a constant battle and a lifetime of wearing hats to prevent more damage. I am on my second bottle of this stuff and about to buy a third. I feel like it has definitely brightened my complexion and maybe even gives it a little glow. I have not tried anything new along with this product, so I have to attribute the positive changes to my use of this.

Love Alastin products. This one so far feels good. I gave it a four because I hate the lid twist. It does not stay up. You really have to try and click it into place, and it takes forever. You are pumping it forever for the product to finally come out of the top. It is super annoying. I just think the lid could be simple. We care about the product and how it works and if it is easy to get out of the bottle.

My hyperpigmentation was visibly less noticeable after one month. Now it has been one year, and my skin is totally even. Even when I get acne scars, they do not last long. I will never stop purchasing! I also love that it gives my skin a nice glow. As a Black woman, I was nervous, but I am very impressed.

I was given a sample by my doctor after laser treatments for dark spots on my face. I really liked how it felt on my face, so I purchased a bottle for Christmas. Unfortunately, I knocked the bottle off the counter, and it came apart and cracked. It will no longer pump. Not a fan of the packaging.

This is the only lightener without hydroquinone that worked for me. It is not as rapid as hydroquinone, but it does fade spots with daily use. It absorbs well, so moisturizers used over it do not pill. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price—it is very expensive.

My dermatologist suggested I use this product because of the darkening on my skin, which are actually age spots. I have been using it for about three months now, twice per day, and it is a miracle worker. I do not mind paying the cost for it. I will make sure to purchase more on my next coupon.

I really love this serum! It seems to make my skin look instantly brighter. Whether that is true or not, I know my skin looks better after using this serum, and that is enough for me to continue using it. I do recommend it!

This is expensive, but after trying several products to remove dark spots, even rubbing lemons on my dark spots, this brightening serum has really faded them. I will be buying it again.

Alastin has really improved my skin and neck tone, and I was looking forward to trying this product. The good: my diffuse redness has improved, and my few brown spots are looking better. The not so good: I seem to be sensitive to it if I use it twice daily—it makes my face feel itchy, although no rash or redness is visible. I am limiting my use to a few times a week in the daytime only.

Quite a nice brightening product with a researched list of powerhouse ingredients. It spreads decently but requires several pumps to cover the entire face unless applied to damp skin. Results could be quicker, but fading of brown spots takes time, I suppose.

I have been using the A-Luminate Brightening Serum for the last 5 months. I did notice some of the redness on my cheeks minimize and an overall brighter appearance. However, this did not work on sunspots, freckles, or areas of melasma. I do not find it worth the price tag and likely will not continue to use it.

I absolutely love this brightening serum. I had a few dark spots on my face related to my last pregnancy a few years ago. Within a month of using the serum, the dark spots have faded. It leaves your face feeling so soft and gives it a nice glow!
