Great sunscreen. This really is clear. When I apply it, I see no white cast on my face at all. I have never liked tinted sunscreens as they are always visible and never match my skin. I think this sunscreen is a little thick, but Ive figured out how to apply it. I pat small amounts on my face and neck and then blend in the sunscreen.

This stuff is amazing. This is the sunscreen Ive been dreaming of but never found for years. My two favorite things about it are: 1) its completely free of pore cloggers. 2) it feels like light coverage foundation. This sunscreen applies lightly, has enough coverage to help with my hyperpigmentation, and its glowy and dewy. I will now be purchasing it regularly.

Good as a sunscreen, but I wish it was an SPF50 for better protection around the eye area. You only need to use a tiny amount, so the bottle will last a long time. However, it doesnt work well as a color corrector or concealer. Its too light and transparent with not enough pigment.

Really nice, but the tint is off for me. This is my favorite tinted sunscreen I have tried so far in terms of its finish, application, and moisturizing qualities. It does not seem to irritate my skin either. However, it becomes darker and a bit orange after some time. I have light skin and it oxidizes too much for me.

This is probably the best mineral sunscreen Ive ever tried. I live in Florida and I also use Retin-A on a daily basis so its very important that I use sunscreen everyday. This product was actually recommended to me by my dermatologist. For my 57-year-old skin, this sunscreen works perfectly for me - it isnt too greasy feeling and it isnt too drying either.

AMAZING (Still has White Cast though) I have sensitized, reactive skin and I need a non-irritating mineral sunscreen because anytime I use anything else my skin gets red and angry. This sunscreen is THEE best Ive found so far. It applies elegantly! It has not pilled when applying, even when I reapply later in the day! HOWEVER, after wearing it for 10+ hours, it starts to pill.

I have tried every undereye concealer and this one is the best. I have battled dark circles under my eyes since my youth. Most yellow concealers just make me look like I have grey under-eye circles. The trick is using peach concealer, which is exactly what this color is. What really compels me to write this review is how easily it blends underneath my eyes.

Sunscreen that adjusts to your skin tone. I decided to look into tinted sunscreens. I like that this sunscreen is mineral-based and can be built up in coverage, still looking natural. However, I give it 4 stars because the fair shade is a bit too light in color for me. I had tried the medium, but that was too dark and warm.

Comparison with other tinted moisturizers. I wanted a tinted moisturizer without oxybenzene. I'm on my 2nd tube after 2 years. I did consider trying another brand but saw negative reviews. The only downside is the shade options. I love it and will place another order.

Number 1 Tinted Sunblock. I loved its coverage, but the downside was that it was super thick. I recently visited a medical spa, and Alastin Skincare HydraTint sunscreen was recommended. I love the texture; it has a silky feel and does not feel heavy or thick. I've been able to reapply it throughout the day without it getting flaky or feeling cakey.

Instant brightening. I have been using this for about a month and really like it. The first morning I applied it, I noticed an immediate difference with brighter under eyes. I chose "Fair." I have sensitive eyes, and this product has not bothered them. You only need about half a pump for both undereyes. Time will tell on minimizing fine lines.

Love this product! I wear it as my everyday makeup. It is lightweight, blends perfectly, and stays on without being oily or greasy. No eye sensitivity despite being SPF 50. I don’t put anything on top of it, though my family sometimes adds powder for more coverage. You can’t go wrong with this product!

Awesome product! I am so glad I heard about it. I can apply enough for good sun protection without it feeling too thick or dry. It spreads evenly and easily, and it sets to a nice soft finish. BEST TINTED SUNSCREEN. This is the best tinted sunscreen Ive ever used. I have normal to sensitive skin, and it does not irritate. When applying, it goes on smoothly, not thick. It moisturizes and my skin feels soft. The color isnt too dark or too light and blends well with my complexion. I really love this sunscreen.

A nice alternative to concealer. I like this product as a great alternative to concealer. It provides skincare benefits and sunscreen for the eye area. I give it 4 stars because the fair color is a bit too light, and the medium/original shade is too dark/orange. It would be great if they offered more shades with different undertones.

Best tinted sunscreen I've used. I'm 68, and I was given a sample of this by my Plastic surgeon’s PA. It has light/medium thickness and doesn’t dry too fast, allowing time to spread it out. No white cast, and it works like a light foundation with great coverage. Will definitely buy again.

Outstanding product! I’ve been using the Sunforgettable Face Shield for a long time. I tried the new Flex version, and I love it even more! It gives even, glowing, beautiful coverage with no irritation or smell. I use the TAN shade, which blends well and gives a natural tan. Makeup goes on beautifully over it if needed.

Colorscience Face Shield. I usually use a different tinted sunscreen, but after reading great reviews, I tried this one. It goes on smoothly, feels soft, and doesn’t leave an oily residue. It pairs well with foundation for more coverage, and even after hours, it still feels light on my face. So far, I’m very happy with it.

This is the best everyday face sunscreen I have found. It gives me enough coverage so I dont have to wear foundation. It gives me protection against IR and visible light, so it helps with my melasma. I dont mind the dewy finish it gives me, but some people with oily skin might find it a bit shiny. The Fair shade matches me better than any other tinted sunscreen I have tried (most others are too dark or orange). However, I find when I reapply, it doesnt look as flawless as the first application, which is the case with all tinted sunscreens.

This is my favorite tinted sunscreen formulation! It has the most beautiful finish and melts into your skin. It does not clog my pores. I give it 4 stars because I wish they had more shade options. The tint is too dark and cool/pink for my skin tone. I still mix it with lighter sunscreens but hope for more shade options.

Best Facial Sunscreen of All! This is the best of the best, and I am a sunscreen fanatic. It goes on like silk, is super hydrating, and lasts all day. I use it daily, and it doubles as my foundation. It has all the ingredients that not only protect from UV but also nourish the skin. The tube lasts me about 4 months. Highly recommend!

Love. This item has replaced my foundation during the day. It provides light coverage and looks very natural. If you want a heavier look, you can layer with foundation. I wish the bestselling kit that included the Tinted Sunscreen & Restorative Skin Complex would return. Products are pricey; a small savings would be appreciated.

Great stuff. I love this over my moisturizer and under my concealer. It mildly moisturizes and protects from the sun. It helps with my dark circles and slows aging. Been using it for years and feel like my skin is aging slower than my friends’. It is thick and creamy but blends well. Love it!

I have tried many mineral/tinted sunscreens. Either they have a metallic after-scent (due to being mineral), or they are too drying, or the tint is just off. THIS mineral sunscreen hits the mark. It is not drying, it has a really nice sun glow tint and no metallic smell! Admittedly, I do put this on after a moisturizer, but even then, it did not dry up on my face like a lot of mineral sunscreens did with a moisturizer. Totally worth the price in my mind. Has some great ingredients for antioxidant protection along with hyaluronic acid for moisture. This is spot on. Unlike a previous review, I do not have trouble washing tint from my fingers. Bit pricey, but it is a good size container and it spreads smoothly, so you do not need a large amount. I am hooked.

This product is worth the price! I mix 1 squirt of this with 2 squirts of my face moisturizer to cover as a nice foundation then 1 partial squirt on my cheeks and Im done with my foundation. This tube will go a long long way and it has great coverage! I was scared by the price but seeing how far the tube will go put my mind at ease...this will be my go-to foundation from now on. I love the SPF 36 and its smooth coverage.

This is a nice product. It goes on smoothly and is hydrating which I like. The color works well for me. Some of these skincare/sunscreen tints are too orange but this is a nice medium shade and is sheer so it blends nicely. I wish they would make a smaller travel size of this product because this is a big tube! It doesnt fit in my medicine cabinet.

Really the best sunscreen I have used. Live in the tropics and this hydrates without being too greasy. My sis has the matte (she has oily skin) and mom has the more hydrating one. I have used all, Im combo skin and medium; this was best for me and still my go-to for daily use. I layer the mineral powder foundation over it.

I wasted big bucks on this item, the tint is wayyy too dark on my light olive skin tone. I was looking so forward to receiving this product and wanted to cry when I saw the color. It is a medium, orangey-tint; which is totally unflattering and dark on my face. I let my daughter try it, but she is fairer than me and hated it on herself even more. I cant wear it because it looks like I am wearing a mask. I feel like I flushed $76 into the toilet, because I threw out the box it came in and cant send it back. Why did they make this so dark?

I totally love the skincare line and have been using the Skincare Intellishade SPF 45. Thought I would give the Clear SPF 50 a try since the SPF was a new product and has a higher SPF. Today I used the product and was extremely disappointed. The consistency of the sunscreen is very pasty, thick and left a greasy feel to my face. Over the course of the day, my hair would fly free of my ponytail and become stuck on my face which was very annoying. Sad to say, I would not recommend this.

I had no idea this was so good. Wish I had tried it years ago. As a melanoma survivor, I really protect my skin. This product line is amazing. My skin is fair/light and dry. I live at high altitude/high desert dry climate. The fair is a great match for me. I mix this with a glow product and use my fingers to apply. Doesnt set in fine lines, evens out my skin and is the ultimate anti-aging product protecting me from the suns harmful rays. Whats not to love?

I have tried so many different sunscreens on my face and most are irritating. The Flex is perfect. I finally found the one! I am fair with blond hair and purchased the Fair color. With this being a mineral sunscreen with only zinc oxide as an active ingredient it doesnt irritate my skin and does not smell. The limited ingredients make me feel better with what I am putting on my face. It is lightly tinted and gives just the right coverage.

I think Im on my 3rd purchase of this. I have 51-year-old skin and the reason why I love this product is because of the moisturizing consistency. As long as you apply a small amount, I find it to work best with my wrinkles and it doesnt get crepe-y. If I apply too much, I just keep working it down over my nose to cover redness. And I really appreciate the SPF.

This non-greasy sunscreen is a must-have. It gives my skin a glowing bronzed color without the need for additional foundation. I have removed one star from the rating only because the bronzed glow is a bit on the orange side that will not be to everyone's liking if you have fair skin. However, the way the product feels and makes my skin look, I can live with the color.

I want to love this stuff I really do. I think whats mainly throwing me off is this is a sunscreen and not a foundation. It gives your face a little bit of coverage all while looking extremely natural! Which I love! I didnt like using a makeup brush, but using my fingertips worked better. Its extremely blendable when applied with fingers. Overall, its a good product.

This has nice coverage alone or can be worn as a primer under foundation. I have fair, sensitive, sun damaged skin, wear the Fair version daily, year-round for years and have never burned. Whitish color quickly changes to match skin tone. Finish is slightly dewy; a little shiny for the nose but looks nice on the rest of the face. Great for dehydrated skin. Blends well on the neck without causing dryness.

I love this product. I have replaced any foundation and only wear a very thin layer of this. I am 42 years old and it makes my skin look very fresh and does not accent signs of aging like foundation tends to do. It works very well as a sunscreen. I have worn it through a whole day of sun with no burn. Suggested it to my 53-year-old sister and she has had the same experience. I need so little that the first bottle I bought lasted over a year.

I just purchased this in December 2023, it’s a phenomenal product. BUT the price increase is crazy. It was $65, but now it's $75. Still a great product, but it’s hard to trust that this substantial increase will not continue happening where the product becomes unattainable for the average consumer.

This goes on easily without tugging. It blends out to look bright and natural with light coverage. The formula is gentle and effective and never burns or irritates my eyes or surrounding skin. I use it most days under makeup and especially on no makeup days that include active outdoor activities. My only complaint is that it tends to shift around and settle into fine lines. The price is very high but it lasts for over a year. It would be nice to have some way to gauge how much is left in the tube.

While I LOVE this sunscreen on my skin - how it goes on, how it feels, the finish....Alas, the color is just too deep. Hence the three stars instead of 5. This would be my go-to sunscreen and a top five rating if it came in a lighter shade. I want to wear it without worrying about the demarcation between my face and my neck. I decided to try this since I love the classic sunscreen, but find the tint a tad too dark for me. The color of the flex in light is spot on about a minute after I apply it, but it looks kind of heavy and flat. Definitely not throw-on and go since I have to add some blush and eye makeup to not look flat. On the upside, it could replace foundation on good skin days, and it lasts all day. This product did not irritate my skin so I will definitely use it up, but not sure if I will repurchase.

Just received and headed to the beach, so I was super excited to put it on. When it came out, my immediate thought was this is orange. Felt great going on and immediately dried, but my face is orange. Definitely not for fair-skinned folks. Wish I could return.

This sunscreen formulation is almost perfect! It feels good and looks so good on the skin. But there are two big problems for me. Personally, I would prefer a higher SPF rating, but also the shade is so dark on me (I am normally a light/medium in foundations) and this color is so deep I can only use this when I have a fake tan. PLEASE COME OUT WITH MORE SHADES SO MORE PEOPLE CAN USE THIS!!

Product goes on smoothly. It feels like a lovely cream moisturizer with the bonus of sunscreen when in fact it is definitely sunscreen. I golf regularly and this is keeping the dark marks from forming below my hat line. I prefer this product because of the smooth application and the coverage. Oh, and it is 50 SPF!

I purchased the Medium color and it blends with my skintone very well. It nicely color corrects dark circles under my eyes and it doesnt migrate into the corners of my eyes. It does not sting my eyes and it doesnt pill up when used on top of my toners, serums, and moisturizers. It is moisturizing when used on its own, also.

I prefer shopping local when the product Im seeking is available but could not find it. As to the product itself, Ive used it for nearly 5 years and it makes my fair skin glow and protects with SPF. For a tinted moisturizer and sunscreen, it absorbs quickly and does not interfere with my foundation application. Others I have tried when trying to save a buck were useless in that regard. So I keep coming back to this. A little goes a long way.

I have re-ordered this product at least 3 times! I love the way it goes on and it protects my skin well. It gives me such a nice glow! I get compliments on my skin and I notice such a difference from using this!

Waited months to write a review because I saved to buy and so wanted to love this—but it just isnt working for me. The quality ingredients and reef-friendly factors are big pluses, but it leaves my skin feeling sticky and rather itchy no matter what combo of products I use underneath. The worst part is that it gives me an unpleasant pink hue. I’m sad that I’ll probably toss 90% of it.

This Flex sunscreen is very emollient without being heavy. It glides onto my skin and gives me great coverage with a soft, dewy, glowing finish. I have mature skin that leans on the dry side. This has replaced my foundation and my skin looks so much more youthful while wearing this product. The medium shade evens out fairish to medium-toned skin and leaves it looking slightly sun-kissed. Great color. I loved the way this went on and the color match of the Medium. Great for days when just going to the gym or the pool. But I think it made me break out in my t-zone. I stopped using it but am going to try it again because I really like how it looks. I have oily skin but have been religiously using retinol so hoping it doesnt make me break out again. Its prob just my sensitive skin so Id definitely give it a try!

I started using this because I was looking for a sunscreen to protect a scar under my eye, and now I will be a lifetime user. The tube lasts forever and is definitely worth the price point. I love the fact that it doubles as concealer for me. It has such a nice creamy texture and blends in really well just with your fingers. I have sensitive eyes and it doesnt irritate them.

Sorcery - so good it must be sorcery. I have tried and been unhappy with sooooo many BB, CC, SPF tinted, light foundations, medium foundations, foundation combined with concealers, clean, super clean, etc except for THIS one. It is simply amazing. It feels luxurious and absorbs quickly. It covers imperfections, a lot of my melasma, and it even removed some of my 49-year-old red eyelids. The color matches my skin exactly. I dont know how they did this, but I got 2 more. PS: With this and a copper multipurpose stick, I look natural and like a Million bucks! Dont change a thing please.

Best tinted sunscreen ever I dont wear much makeup, and I dont like to wear foundation, so Ive been using tinted sunscreen for years. Ive mostly used other brands, BUT this is superior to all of them. Since I started using the Alastin hydratint, people have actually been commenting on my skin and telling me Im glowing. The bottle is bigger so it lasts longer than many others, and it goes on so smoothly and helps moisturize while helping to cover any blemishes.

Perfect! I hate the feel of sunscreen on my face, but what're you gonna do? The alternative isn't pretty. But this one doesn't bother me. I don't wear makeup, and the only reason I got the tinted was for the extra UV protection that Iron Oxide gives. I have melasma, so I have to be extra careful in the sun and can only use mineral sunscreens.

This is a well-rounded sunscreen. It has a zinc base and a nice tint, so it doesn’t go on white and pasty like other mineral sunscreens. It has iron oxides, which makes it great for people who have melasma. It has moderate coverage, but you can slightly feel it on the skin due to the dimethicone. For that reason, I recommend it most for people who are used to wearing a light foundation.

LOVE. This is a sunscreen that definitely feels more like a foundation/skin tint. I am normally an NC30 in foundation and chose the shade medium, and it was perfect for me. It goes on white but adjusts to your skin tone as you rub it in. It feels like it has a bit of coverage, and I’ve been able to replace my foundation with it, and it looks the same. Reapplying it is not my favorite, as it feels like reapplying foundation. Sometimes I use a brush to reapply to avoid getting it all over my hands. Overall, it worked great for the reason I purchased it—to replace my foundation in the summer.

All-time favorite sunscreen for oily, acne-prone skin! The formulation and quality of ingredients of this product are incredible—this is a 100% physical sunscreen with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, contains antioxidants, and actually provides hydration to the skin while remaining lightweight and matte. The tint is universal and flattering and does not oxidize.

My favorite under-eye concealer. I love this product. It's my favorite under-eye concealer, and having SPF is a bonus. You do have to work it in a bit, but it lasts all day without creasing. I do wish there were more shades available. I use the fair and medium to blend into my perfect match. This is pricey although a little goes a long way, and one tube lasts me almost 6 months.

Excellent product that works amazingly well. I bought this mainly because it has sunscreen for the eye area, which I definitely need. The texture of the product is smooth and easy to apply—and it definitely brightened up my eye area after the first application. After just three weeks of use, I began to notice subtle improvement in my eye area. My eyes look less puffy, and there are fewer wrinkles. My only complaint is that the "Fair" shade is a little TOO pale for me. I ended up buying the "Medium" shade and mixing the two for more accurate color.

LOVE!!! I received a sample of this product after my IPL treatment last Monday, and I have literally fallen in love with it. I have no idea how to do makeup, and every time I’ve tried, it looks terrible on my skin. However, with this tinted SPF moisturizer, I don’t even need makeup. Absolutely the best tinted sunscreen I’ve ever used. This was recommended by a medical professional since I have sensitive skin from rosacea. I never have any breakouts or irritation using this product. The tinted color is perfect for my coloring, blends perfectly! My only wish would be that this sunscreen provided a higher SPF protection.

Great product! Love the spreadability of this tinted lotion SPF! It goes on smoothly and blends easily with a slight blurring effect. My rosacea-prone skin seems to tolerate it well. Since it’s a product I have to reapply a few times a day, I wish it was less expensive, but I am happy to have it in rotation. I subtracted a star for the price and the fact that it tends to rub off on light clothing.

Very Pleased!! I am pleasantly surprised with this product. The color tint matches my skin tone perfectly and it brightens and hydrates the skin around my eyes. I also love that it has SPF in it! I took off a star because by the end of the day this product creases, so you have to keep an eye on it throughout the day. The best concealer ever! Over the 45 years I’ve been using concealers under my eyes, I’ve never found one that had all the features this one has. First of all, there are four shades available, and even though I used the lightest, it was spot on in matching my own skin color and blending seamlessly. The texture of this product was ideal, not too thick or thin, but with an ideal texture for flawless blending. The cool, metal tip can be used to dot on under your eyes and tighten the delicate skin by contracting it and reducing puffiness. The bonus is it has SPF in it too, to prevent sun damage in a highly sensitive area such as the under-eye.

Great product but wish they had more tints available. This product feels nice and lightweight on my acne-prone skin. So far, no breakouts from this product. It looks smooth and provides good coverage--I would not wear makeup with it, as it already does the job of covering up any redness. It also feels good and lasts a good while during periods of heavy sweating and exercise. My only complaint is that there is only one tint available, and it is far too orangey and dark for my fair complexion. I look like a tangerine if I just wear this sunscreen! I can easily add a layer of another sunscreen to make the color look ok and add extra sun protection. This isnt a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to only use one product.

I love this moisturizer/sunscreen! I will never use anything else. It’s a great light feel but also very moisturizing. The color is great too. I never wear foundation because it covers so beautifully. I have all 3 of my girls on it, and they have referred who knows how many people. It’s great!

This is my favorite SPF! This was recommended to me by my esthetician. I love this product because it uses mineral sunscreen but does not have a white cast. Best of all, this has no pore-clogging ingredients and has not broken me out! The tint seems to sheer out to match any skin tone. The shade does not oxidize throughout the day like other tinted sunscreens.

Love this sunscreen! I love that it is mineral, but it is not too thick to blend. It leaves a nice dewy, moisturized finish, unlike some of the other mineral SPFs that I have tried. This is truly clear on the skin, but moisturizes well!

Colorscience Flex sunscreen. I was so excited about this sunscreen, it got so many favorable reviews. Upon application it looked gorgeous, dewy, and evened my skin tone. Sadly, after a couple of days, it was a no-go for my skin. I had an allergic reaction and broke out, so I immediately had to request a return. I believe it's a great sunscreen, just not for my sensitive skin.

Great eye cream/concealer. This is a repeat purchase for me, maybe my third time repurchasing; I adore this eye cream even though it is on the pricey side, so I usually buy it when it's on sale. The eye cream is also an SPF, a moisturizer, and a color corrector, so it does triple duty. It wears well under my usual concealer and over my usual eye cream. I highly recommend this beautiful product.

The perfect tinted face sunscreen. I really love this tinted sunscreen. The color is light, and because I have such fair skin, it is important to me that a tinted sunscreen blend well. Many other tinted sunscreens are much too dark in their tint for my complexion, but this is perfect. And it is not greasy or smelly. This is my new go-to for facial sunscreen.

Very well done but overpumps product. First-time buyer of this 3-n-1. I’m actually quite amazed by how great the concealer is and totally did not expect that! I love that there’s at least an SPF of 35; although an SPF of 50 would be preferable. I took away one star because when the dispenser is pressed down, it delivers way too much. I would purchase again.

Please make more shades! I was pleasantly surprised by this tinted sunscreen. I've tried many mineral sunscreens and haven't had much success. They’re drying, go on streaky, and the shade often does not match my skin. I have super sensitive rosacea skin and most sunscreens, even mineral ones, irritate my skin. This product does not go on streaky at all and has a lovely satin finish - not too matte or shiny. My skin looks glowy. It does not make my skin red, itchy, or break out in bumps. I can even use it around my eyelids! It has more coverage than expected for a tinted moisturizer; I use it as a light foundation.

This sunscreen is so good. I use it every day as my foundation! The tone is perfect! I was told this is great to wear as foundation at my Med spa on days when you dont want to wear makeup. I will never go back to regular foundation! I am older with very dry skin, and this moisturizes my face. I have rough texture with big pores, and after using this with some powder, my pores and texture are so improved. I would give this five stars every day! Try it!

Good color match, moderate coverage. For a limited shade range, this concealer works well and provides medium coverage for my purple dark circles. Great for when I am just wearing tinted sunscreen. It is not drying around my eyes, which is a problem for me with a lot of concealers, but it does crease a little even with setting powder. I don't think I'll purchase again since I love the no-show mineral and use that around my eyes no problem, and my normal concealers work fine over it.

I see what all the hype is about. People rave about this, so I had to try it. I genetically have dark circles under my eyes, mixed with some dark spots/melasma. I have fair skin with a pink undertone and the original shade/Medium seemed to blend in great. I like that it had a slight orangish tint to help combat the dark circles while still blending into my skin nicely. After a couple of uses, I figured it out, and it did cover pretty darn well with a small amount. I do especially like that it has an SPF in it.

Fantastic SPF with coverage. This is my second time purchasing this SPF; it is a beautiful feeling lotion that comes out of the tube as a white cream and upon spreading turns into the perfect shade for my skin (I am using the medium shade). The finish is slightly dewy, and it provides light coverage; it wears well as a base for makeup and lasts me all day; the SPF is 50, which is wonderful.

Best tinted sunscreen. I don't know how it works, but this product is magical. It comes out of the bottle white, and when rubbed on your face, it somehow blends to match your skin tone. It is like a soft filter that evens everything out. This is my everyday base. If I am doing full makeup, I use this, concealer, and a powder foundation over it.
