For once a product, actully 2 amoisturiser with retinol, and the tinted sunscreen are perfect for me. Ive spent a lot of money & time trying everthing. I've had very dry peeling dry skin for ovr a year. These Alastin creams have actually worked & look great on me. I'm 75, the sunscreen looks like a light make up refresingly so. Onky retinol my skin can handle. Ive used tretinoin and other drug store and my skin can never get to where i can use it everyday. This is gentle yet effective. I can tell a huge difference.

Smooth consistency and I do love the addition into my routine for the luxurious feel to my skin. Although I must say Im not sure I can actually tell a huge difference when I use it or when I dont. But that could be due to the consistency of my use or the additional use of exfoliants. As far as a retinol-centric product, no tingling sensation or redness, no peeling or notice of obvious exfoliation. Ive been trying to introduce my skin to retinol but every time my face would have a bad reaction to it. So I decided to try this product. My face has shown zero bad reactions to this retinol and my face already feels softer. I think the .25 would not have been strong enough. Not sure how long I will use this as I think there are other higher strength retinols out there, but its nice to finally be able to use one with no side effects.

It is a little early to tell if this item works for me right now. I use many of these products, and all I can tell you is that I have seen a huge difference in my skin in every way. When I go for treatments, my esthetician tells me how wonderful my skin looks. I am 64 and feel wonderful about my skin. This entire line is fantastic!

My skin is sensitive and doesnt normally do well with retinoids. This product works beautifully. No irritation. I also like that the formula is lightweight and oil-free. Most retinol products are very heavy and emollient, my skin is normal to oily, and those formulas give me blackheads. This product is effective at keeping my t-zone clear, and helped with my fine lines. Its been gentle enough to use on my neck and orbital bone too.

I have been using retinol since my early thirties before it was widely used. My skin just loves retinol, so I never stopped, and I think it shows. I feel I have very decent skin at 60. My old brand became difficult to get, and when I went for a treatment, the office had this one, so I tried it. Its money much better spent because I got my new perfect brand of retinol.

Amazing retinol product. I actually love all the products, but this is one of my favorites. I have fair skin with red undertones, so I only use retinol 1-2 times per week. If I use it more than that, I get dry flaky spots. I highly recommend this product for all skin types!

This is a great retinol serum for my sensitive, combination, 60+ skin. It does not burn my face like some other products Ive used, and it does not dry my skin out and cause those horrible peelies all over my face a few days after using. It sinks into my skin with a luscious formula, and I dont wake up feeling greasy. It makes my skin look smooth for days after, and it does not irritate my rosacea. This product is a winner for me, and I plan to repurchase this.

I have never been able to use retinol until this one. I started slow and gradually increased until its every night or every other night. I use the .5 retinol. I am seeing actual good results. Hard to explain, but I would say younger, and my skin is a fresh, even tone all over. I can honestly say it has improved my skin.

The product does not irritate the skin, but I haven’t seen a difference in the texture of my skin. Perhaps I need 1% as I’ve used retinol before. I will continue to use it, as I’m sure it will not hurt me.

Have only used for several weeks. I started out at every 4th to 5th day. My cheeks seemed to get red, and I just noticed dry patches in a few places. I wanted to try a heavier moisturizer and layer it. As I am 70 now and live in AZ, hydrating is crucial. I have really great skin, but does mature skin tend to get more sensitive with aging?
