Great product, container leaks Love the actual product- love that it goes on clear and wears well under makeup. However, weve traveled with it twice and lost nearly half the product inside both times from it leaking through the lid (both times it was brand a brand new bottle). For this quality and price point, its a real bummer that the packaging falls short!

Truly silky! This sunscreen lived up to the description and some of the reviews. It glides on easily and leaves a very smooth surface, not tacky or greasy and the white cast disappears by working the product into the skin. Im happy I chose this one!

Obsessed! I am very pleased with this product! I have been using for a little over a week. I love the satin feel and finish as you apply. It was a tad white when applied but blended in my skin quickly! It goes great under my makeup. I have very sensitive skin and unlike other brands I have tried, this sunscreen did not break me out whatsoever. Definitely would recommend!

Incredible for Ultra-Sensitive Skin I have ultra-sensitive, pale skin and this is the only mineral sunscreen I can use. I love it! Its silky smooth and doesnt leave me feeling gross and greasy all day. Highly, highly recommend this sunscreen. Its a little hard to wash off at the end of the day, but a good scrub before bed is never a bad thing. This is my go-to sunscreen now!

My Go to sunblock Ive been using this sunscreen for four years now. Last year I had a chemo cream treatment on my chest due to multiple pre cancer. This sunscreen is now part of my daily routine. It goes on my neck and chest. If Im wearing something sleeveless that extends to my shoulders and arms.

Love this sunscreen I love this sunscreen, my dermatologist recommended this sunscreen, and for more than a year I have been using it. This sunscreen is great for post-procedure, dry, and normal skin. To me, its like a moisturizer and sunscreen combined. After a few minutes, the minimal white cast diminishes. My Holy Grail I have the most sensitive reactive skin. Any product that has been deemed "sensitive" does not work for me. I had about given up hope of finding a sunscreen that does not make me look as red as a beet. Then, along came this sunscreen. It is absolutely amazing. My face has never looked better. Thank you!

I was hesitant to buy especially for the price but Im so glad I did! The consistency is amazing and makes your face feel so soft! It is slightly white but instantly absorbs into your skin. Doesnt leave a greasy feel and doesnt break me out. Definitely is very gentle on skin. The bottle should be slightly bigger but Ill take it!

Silly not greasy My favorite facial sunscreen of all time. Feels soft and silky, not greasy at all. Does not make me break out, and I can break out easily! My husband loves it too!

Excellent sunscreen for sensitive skin! I love this Alastin sunscreen! I have been using it for several weeks after having a laser treatment on my face and eyes. This sunscreen has been amazing! I have had zero reactions, even on extremely sensitive skin. No problem using this around my eyes and eyelids, no problem with it at all. Very light white Zinc tint which goes away almost immediately, and I can use this sunscreen under my make up. This is a winner!

Like silk…. I usually get dry skin from using sunscreen regularly (especially on vacation)… but this stuff feels like SILK on my skin. Not sticky or tacky, at ALL. Alastin….please please please make a bigger size! (for those of us ladies that need it for the whole upper body).

Mineral sunscreen This sunscreen is very light and moisturising but effective. I can wear it daily and a little goes a long way. It doesnt feel heavy like some I have used. Would definitely recommend this.

Silky I love this product. Ive hated anything heavy on my face and this is silky and feels great. I want to wear it and that has never happened. I have to wear it as Ive had skin cancer. So this is a great addition to my skin care routine and cancer protection.

best sunscreen for me It is silky for sure, goes on easily, blends in quickly and is far better for my fair because tinted is too dark and shows. The untinted never looks look like zinc oxide because it absorbs so well.

Great product. Needs better packaging. I have sensitive skin and eyes and this is the only moisturizer with sunscreen that doesnt hurt my eyes…and Ive tried a lot. My only criticism is the packaging and cap is incredibly cheap. Three times the small tip inside the cap has broken off which means you cant close the top. Each time Alastin has sent me a replacement quickly but Id prefer it didnt happen in the first place.

a pretty solid spf, did not break me out at all which is why i love it, used this after my microneedling session, for the price i wish it was a higher spf, does have a silky/ silicone feel which can feel little heavy on the skin does leave a white cast!!

Silky and rich sunscreen I love this sunscreen. I can put it on then my regular makeup. Its oil free and doesnt clog my pores. If I have one complaint it feels a little greasy and I have to pin my hair back until it dries.

Silkshield too dark for me The formula of the product was wonderful. I liked it in my skin and appreciated having tint, moisture, and sunscreen all in one. My problem, and why I can not use it, is the shade. The tint is much too dark for my very light skin. I stay out of the sun and use sunscreen, so can not even use the tinted product in the summer. I would LOVE it if you would offer Silkshield in a lighter shade!!

Smooth as Silk I LOVE, LOVE LOVE this sun shield. It feels silky smooth on my skin and doesnt leave that "white paste" on my face after I apply it. It also lasts a long time timeI highly recommend this product!

Best sunscreen ever Im outside a lot. This sunscreen is not only creamy and moisturizing ~ it stays with sweat, doesnt sting if it goes in your eyes and works great! Its the only one for me.

Pleased with product "but" This product is nice a smooth and covers so well. Feels like a foundation. Love the product BUT the cover does not snap closed and stays open. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. But the product is great. Cannot take mobile as the cap does not close and can only put on when leaving my home. Alot leaked out before I noticed the cap did not close tightly and contents was all over inside my bag. It is creamy, smooth blends naturally into my skin.

Great sunscreen for sensitive skin Wow, I was blown away by this all-mineral sunscreen. Its easy to apply, smooth, and doesnt pill. Its great for sensitive skin and with a minimal white case (its almost impossible to have an all-mineral sunscreen to be 100% clear). My skin feels moisturized and calm after application.

Really wanted to like this… I use all the other products but the Hydratint is too orange-y for me. I was hoping this would be the sunscreen for me. It has a nice silky feel BUT it leaves a white cast that does not disappear, so its a big NO for me.

Perfect for Face Protection. I have tried several sunscreens for the face that contain zinc. Most are extremely heavy or thick and have serious white cast on them. My skin does not do so well with mineral based make up or products. When I sweat it usually makes my skin sting. This was recommended to me after getting a laser treatment since not only does the sun trigger melasma, so does the computer screen. This is by far the best SPF that I have found to wear on my face under my make up.

Magic but barely any product I love this mineral SPF!! I have super fair skin and I will tell you that every mineral sunscreen that Ive owned makes me look even more pale However this doesnt do that! Only mineral SPF Ive found that once its blended into the skin, looks like you got nothing on Im In love. HOWEVER. Knocked 2 stars off because i feel like theres not enough product in the tube. So amazing, there should be a bigger size! This is so amazing for face and hands! I would love a larger container for covering arms. It doesnt leave the skin greasy or sticky OR with that chalky, white cast. Not only is my skin protected, but it feels improved, too! Please make a body size!

Good but not great Im a huge fan of skin tint so was expecting a similar finish. Too much of a white cast and felt a little heavy on my skin. Probably wont reorder but go with hydratint

Favorite sunscreen for the whole year. I really love this sunscreen for my face and neck. Actually I also use it for my arms and shoulders sometimes thought its very expensive and dont want to waste it. But I love how it feels so light like regular lotion and doesnt leave a white overcast like other sunscreens.

Almost perfect I love how it feels when applying it! Its like a silicone texture, giving it a primer feel. The sunscreen has been playing kindly with my sensitive skin, not exacerbating its redness. It doesnt feel like a sticky or thick layer on your skin like other mineral sunscreens.

My favorite sunblock ever This product is the first sun protection creme I have ever used that does not irritate my eyes. It is gentle and moisturizing. I love it!

Very Silky! I simply love this sun shield because when I apply it, it does not leave a residue and my skin feels very silky, which I love because it is not heavy.

Favorite Sunscreen Creamy and absorbent leaving your skin silky soft. I love how it melts into the skin leaving no white residue or sticky feeling to the touch. Its the only sunscreen I use for my face. Please come up with a full body version.

Bestt Sunscreen Out There! I have very fair skin and use sunscreen religiously. I have tried many different brands, and this is hands down the BEST sunscreen for my face. I love that it moisturizes so well but does not feel heavy or leave a greasy film. It finishes nice and matte. I love it so much!

Too pricey for the amount provided This sunscreen has a wondeful silky application. I did get some whiteness but it does fade after a few hours. I am sending product back, however, due to the price. There is no where near enough sunscreen for the charged amount. I was not paying attention to the size when I purchased it. I am stticking with the tinted version (which is the BEST) as you get a lot more for the price. Come on Alastin-how can you justify this dollar figure???!
