EltaMD UV Clear Blemish-Prone & Oil Balancing SPF 50 Reviews

As someone who generally hates sunscreen and would never wear any on my face out of fear of breakouts, the greasy feeling, the smell and because makeup would always slide off. Not with EltaMD! It’s light weight, non-greasy, doesn’t smell and helps to heal breakouts (IMO) while also providing UV protection. Hoping they can eventually do a tinted version like the original al. It’s holy grail for me now and I’ll never be without!

This is the best sunscreen I ever ever tried. Light, non greasy, goes well under makeup and very effective. However, the pump was defective and would distribute product out of the side in addition to the nozzle. For this price point, both the product and it's packaging should perform, in my opinion.

The sunscreen and moisturizer is great! It doesn’t clog my pores and leaves a smooth finish. It absorbs quickly and the texture isn’t hard to blend into the skin. Easy to pump!

It's rare to find a sunscreen that is SPF 50 that is light and improves your skin. I was using the UV Clear sunscreen for well over a year and just switched to the UV Clear Blemish-Prone & Oil Balancing SPF 50 sunscreen because I do have very oily, acne rosacea skin. It is now my fave. It makes a wonderful base for makeup and can be worn under foundation all day, no breakouts. No, it does not peel my skin, or dry it out, or make it red. A very well formulated product.

I bought this because nothing else was working. I’m 50, and ever since hitting perimenopause I’ve become allergic to most everything (it’s so annoying)!! This sunscreen blends in smoothly and protects really well. I wore it when I was out in the mountains on a 90 degree day and did not burn. It is not overly thick or oily like some sunscreens. Not much of a scent either, which I like because you can’t tell I even have sunscreen on.
