EltaMD UV Daily Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 Reviews

I've been using this product for 2 years, and it is the best.

My dermatologist recommended Elta and I usually only wear tinted sunscreen vs foundation, so I tried the Tinted Spf 40. I love the finish and the feel but wish the color wasn't so yellow. I can adjust the color with other makeup products, but the smell makes it where I don't want to use it. It is a strong, strange smell to have on my face, and it takes a while to go away. I'm not sure I'll purchase again.

For some reason, I had a breakout from this product on the first day. We just kind of interesting because I use the regular untinted sunscreen and that works great for me. I also find that this seems to look a little greasy on my skin. I wouldn’t purchase it again.

I enjoy using this product very much. It goes on easily and I feel it gives me the protection I need.

I like this sunscreen - but I think I'll switch back to the UV Clear sunscreen when it runs out. The tint is just way too dark for my skin tone, and there are no lighter shade options.

I like Elta md but this one is a bit oily. I do have dry to normal skin. I tend to mix it with another product to remove the oils.

Love it! Not to heavy, but leaves my skin feeling moisturized and healthy and protected.

I’ve been using this Elta MD sunscreen for a while and it it’s so gentle and non-irritating without irritation or burns and ZERO skin flakiness(dryness) and it’s the only sunscreen that I pretty much use now.

I love it! When you rub it in you do not see it. I am outside the majority of days during the summer. During the school year I walk to and from work so I am outside extensively. As long as Ive been using the daily, I have not returned home with sunburn or redness from the sun. I carry it with me so that I can put more on during the day. I recently was sent this sunscreen as a gift along with my Elta MD UV Facial sunscreen that I use every day. I am pretty fair so this formula was too dark for me on its own. However, when mixed with my UV Facial, which has no color, I was able to create a shade that worked for me. The combination absorbs and dries quickly and I loved the way it looked. Will definitely continue to use. Love Elta MD. Have used their sunscreens for many years. They do not disappoint.

Not a favorite of mine. I dont care for this product because it has a slight smell when I put it on. Its also thin and watery when applied compared to the other versions of tinted sunscreen I use. I thought it was water resistant when I purchased it but according to the person I spoke with at eltaMD, it is not. If your day doesnt include water or exercise, perhaps its a good daily option. Doesnt work for my lifestyle. I am a big fan of the thicker tinted and higher spf suncreens by Elta MD.

I read all the extensive reviews before purchasing, and Ive never looked back. Its as great as I was hoping for. It leaves my face glowing, not greasy, and provides just the perfect amount of moisture my skin needs. The tint is subtle enough, but it has great coverage for no makeup days. Its a must have in my skin care drawer :-)

I have rosacea and have tried numerous (expensive) sunscreens that are either too oily or too thick. I have tried multiple Ella formulations and find this one has the best feel, finish, and longevity. The smell is not so great upon application but quickly dissipates. I love how little makeup I need to apply with this sunscreen. It also keeps my skin from not feeling dry throughout the day. The initial application is shiny, but I always wait a few minutes to let it absorb before applying makeup and that seems to be the key.

I came to try EltaMD products after seeing several dermatologists recommend the products. Im very glad i found those recommendations. I use the tinted version on my face daily. It gives my face a nice, healthy, even glow and I no longer need a foundation. For my neck and decolletage, I use the clear (or white) to protect from sun damage. No stinging in eyes, little to no scent, and great protection. A win, win in the Texas sun.

I have been using this EltaMD sunscreen/moisturizer for five years. I love the effectiveness of the sunscreen (I have used it in the sun in very hot places!) and it is also really moisturizing. It has hyaluronic acid in the formulation which I consider a plus, but it does leave skin looking shiny. Normally I would wear foundation on top of it. I really like the dual benefits of moisture and sun protection!

My dermatologist recommended eltaMD UV Daily and I couldnt be more satisfied! I use the tinted version as my sunscreen and foundation! Its natural looking and thats super important to me. Plus it stood up to the Hawaiian sun all day long on a recent vacation, but I use it everyday year round. My skin has never looked better and Im almost 72! Highly recommend for all ages!

This is my favorite sunscreen. I use it in place of my foundation in the summer. First thing I put on in the morning and I can workout wearing it ! Great sun protection while outdoors playing pickleball and gives me a glow that makes my skin look dewy and glowing. I keep one in my travel bag. Ive used the non-tinted and like it on top of my makeup but use the tinted 98 % of the time.

I love that this sunscreen is easy to use everyday. It is a light coverage with the tint. My skin never feels greasy or like I am wearing anything. I don't need to use any foundation when using this product. I love using something that is good for my skin! Protective, proactive and practical.

Maybe some people have found the holy grail sunscreen for their face. I'm still sorting through the magnitude of that space and options. The EltaMD UV Daily Moisturizing Tinted Face Sunscreen is my go-to sunscreen for daily use. It is super light and makes me feel like I'm not even wearing sunscreen. I've previously had to go through chemo from sun exposure. This sunscreen was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I love it!!
