A Beautiful Finish! I just ordered my second bottle, in the larger size, as I dont ever want to run out of this. (Its that good.) I cant comment as to how this would look on darker skin, but on my pale, sensitive, thinner and acne-prone skin which tends to redness, it gives a beautiful subtle glow. No adverse reactions, no acne, and it has an unexpected bonus effect: blurring the age spots and fine lines and wrinkles. Be aware of the thinner consistency, and that youll need to shake it before dispensing. (For me, it helps to put a small amount on the back of one hand, which I can keep flat to avoid the product running.) In areas where I need more coverage, like cheeks and nose, I top this with a sunscreen from a different brand.

SO good for sensitive skin I was recommended this product by my dermatologist for my daughter. Every spring break, my 10 year old daughter gets SO sensitive to sunscreen, particularly on her face. The mix of sunscreen, chlorine pools and salt water from the ocean makes her particularly sensitive. I have tried every sunscreen, including face specific sunscreens, and it would just burn / sting putting it on. Well, after a week of vacation, this one FINALLY seems to work!!! It has been amazing thus far… no complaining that it burns / stings putting it on, and it has done an amazing job protecting her in the pool and at the beach. So excited to finally find a sunscreen that works on her sensitive face. Highly recommend!!

Great, light sunscreen for sensitive skin I have very acne-prone skin and was looking for a sunscreen that I could wear daily that wouldnt break me out. I am sensitive to niacinamide and appreciate that this sunscreen does not contain it. So far, I have enjoyed using this sunscreen daily, both with and without makeup. I havent noticed a cast of any sort. It doesnt feel greasy or contain any noticeable scent. I will continue using and hope that it lasts for awhile, as its expensive for how small the container is, albeit worth it for me given that it hasnt broken me out.

Wonderful Active Sunscreen I wear Elta MD sunscreen on my face regularly. Unfortunately, I have never found a sunscreen for my body that is not sticky or leaves a residue until now. In warmer weather, I often wear long-sleeve wicking tops and pants just to avoid using sunscreen. However, I feel that will not be the case next summer. I live in Cleveland, OH so our summers are brief and manageable. However, I recently took a vacation to California and I felt I needed to find some other option. I decided to try the EltaMD UV Sport Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Lotion and I look forward to next summer in Ohio!

This Is The One I have tried many untinted sunscreens with claims touting no white cast. Somehow they all leave me with a ghostly pallor. The Colorscience No Show mineral sunscreen is different. It applies easily and, once rubbed in, disappears to leave an almost imperceptible satin sheen to your face. To add a little color the Colorscience color balm is perfect. And both provide SPF protection! I highly recommend this product.

Best sub for my beloved discontinued SPF50 so far -- hydrating and no-show [For reference, sensitive skin with light tone.] My longtime, cosmetically elegant SPF50 is out of production aside from a tinted version that does not work for me. Ive tried a few other top-rated brands over the last couple of years and have found them too drying, too white-cast even on my light skintone, or both. This is the first real contender. Plays well with my moisturizer and sheer foundation and feels great on my dry skin. Rec reading other reviews as I did to see the common themes for likes / dislikes. I was used to a creamy consistency with my old fav, so have to pay attention squeezing this out as yes -- its very liquidy / more like a serum. Also a little hard to judge how much remains in bottle aka how many days of use per bottle Ill get / cost per day, but overall the benefits outweigh the expense.

The Finest No Show Mineral Sunscreen You Can Buy This is a mineral skin with pure mineral ingredients - no chemicals - and its reef safe. It has no weird orange tint or white sunscreen that doesnt absorb and pills under makeup. This is fabulous under makeup - smooth and doesnt pill or affect the tint of your foundation. It is a perfect sunscreen that does it all - like all Coloscience sunscreens. My favorite Colorscience product was Classic but it is now No- Show Mineral sunscreen.

Best Sunscreen Ever Definitely a family favorite! I love that my whole family can use this sunscreen. Especially for my boys, it does not burn their eyes while sweating. As a mom this is a huge plus. Our to go to sunscreen for the pool, waterpark, sports and any outdoor activities here in Houston, TX. I love that I can trust this product to protect my family. I know that while they are wearing it I dont have to worry about sun damage. Definitely no sunburns ever! This product won me over when we have used it while vacationing in Cancun, Mexico, no sunburns after a full week of full sun exposure between beach and water activities in middle of the summer. When you first apply it feels a little greasy and seems like it will leave you a white case, however, once you work it in very well, it becomes clear and smooth, leaving no visible residue or cast.

This. Is. Everything. I love this sunscreen and truly dont know what I would do if it was ever discontinued. I know its for body, but I use it on my face (and neck, and chest…) as it wont get into my eyes unless I rub it in (or cry), and when it has gotten near my eyes, theres no irritation. Other SPF products will make my eyes red and tear up like crazy! Im not a huge fan of the 8 oz. tube (bring back the pump!!!) as it can be a bit cumbersome and it is quite easy to spill or use too much when applying. However, because the 8 oz. tube is more economical, I will adjust.

Great for sensitive skin I adore this sunscreen. I was recommended to use a zinc oxide based sunscreen, but I had a hard time finding ones I liked because they would leave white casts and felt really thick and greasy. This one is great! It applies white but dries clear. It also spreads very easily and feels quite hydrating. I applied it around my eyes and my eyes didnt get irritated at all. I have really sensitive skin too and found this formula to be really gentle.

Best mineral sunscreen This SPF 50 no-show mineral sunscreen protects well and really does not show. Upon initial application, the sunscreen, which is white, shows but quickly fades away. Its lightweight, non-greasy, goes on smoothly, and has no fragrance, which encourages me to use it on my face, neck every day. I apply it after my morning serums/moisturizer and before applying makeup. It comes in two sizes, so I have the larger size in my medicine cabinet and the smaller size that I can carry-on when I travel, which is frequently.

Elta MD UV Sport Body Sunscreen This is an excellent product. Be sure to follow the directions and towel dry your skin before you apply it. Otherwise I have found that the zinc oxide stays white on your skin for a few minutes before being absorbed. When you apply it to dry skin, it is absorbed immediately and leaves a beautiful glow on your skin. I have used Elta MD face sunscreen for years. Both of these products have given me great sun protection but I still get a nice tan (never burn).

No white cast and lightweight! I attended a webinar on sunscreen with a Colorscience rep. I had always heard the rule to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours but I thought that only applied if you were swimming or sweating. She confirmed sunscreen is only effective for 2 hours. She also pointed out how we should wear it indoors due to indirect sunlight. I used a tinted chemical sunscreen as my foundation. So I wanted something I could reapply throughout the day without adding more tint or color to my fair skin. I also wanted a physical sunscreen. This fits the bill perfectly! Its lightweight and doesnt have a white cast. I love it!

This product completely rubs in clear! I am a sunscreen addict that reapplies every two hours, and its hard to find a sunblock that doesnt turn Me into Casper, and looking like an oil slick… especially with 5 reapplications through the day. HOWEVER! This stick has met my qualifications and is now my go to for daily use and reapplication. Also, I am a male and it is something I can wear around the boys and they never know. And a word of advice to all the mineral sunblock wear-ers out there: practice patience with your sunblock. All mineral sunblock needs to be rubbed in to be sheer, and it takes about 15 min to set, and loose its sheen. See, mineral sb SITS on the skin and is not absorbed. So apply, keep rubbing in and breath!

EltaMD is my fav brand of SPF and Ive tried so many! Ive heard about the brand watching influencers and celebs rave about it on YouTube, so then I went to my dermatologist to see if he also recommends it, and I got an absolute YES! I have dry skin, Im 28 years old so Im at a point in my life where Im using retinol at night, almost every night, and keeping my skin safe everyday (even when the sun is not out) is very important to me. I spent years in tanning booths starting in my late teens on and off until I was about 26. I also would sit out in the sun and bake. I regret ever doing that! I have a lot of beauty marks/moles now on my skin that I didnt have when I was younger. Skin cancer is a serious issue that ravages the body quick and a lot of times you wouldnt know until its too late, so proactive protection is key.

Love this stuff! It comes out white and completely disappears on my skin light tone without a ton of effort working into the skin. I dont like that it initially looks shiny but at least on my aged skin the shine disappears within a few minutes. I dont use foundation of any sort - put on my face serum, H.A. and moisturizer and use this as the last step. For me the only downfall is needing to wait at each step for products to really sink in. Ive never liked sunblock on my face but this one is tolerable. Its great for the backs of my hands too.

Love this sunscreen! My husband and I were excited to try this new product, and we are now hooked. It had taken years to find a product we both like for our faces. Sometimes, the manufacturers would alter the formulas, which would make them too greasy. We use sunscreen on our ears, face, neck front and back and hands. This product does apply differently than most as you put it onto your skin, but it dried rapidly and leaves no white or greasy residue. I believe makeup could be applied almost immediately, and there would be no need to dry your face or powder first. Im especially thrilled with its texture on my ears, neck and hands. I always felt like I was getting my hair greasy before, but I often wear my hair in a ponytail and wanted coverage on my ears. For the back of my neck, it avoids any unwanted residue and feels comfortable even in hard to reach areas.

Strong Sun Protection I find this sunscreen best suited for days when Im active outdoors. Its a thick sunscreen that I have to rub in well, and it really stays on when Im sweaty or in the water. When I first put it on, theres a whitish cast but that fades after a short while. This is a heavy-duty sunscreen that even takes a while to wash off with soap in the shower, thats how well it sticks to the skin. Excellent sun protection.

Literally a Lifesaver Growing up in Colorado you have a lot of sun exposure. In my 40s I had my first scare with skin cancer. Now in my 50s its all about daily SPF coverage. Elta MD gives you a layer of protection without clogging your pores. It goes on white but absorbs into the skin to give you a glowing sheen. And your makeup glides right over it. Note the consistence is thick but it absorbs beautifully so it does not feel heavy on your skin. My dermatologist recommended Elta MD after my last treatment and I will never use anything else.

Best spf for your body! I love EltaMD spf! My dermatologist recommended to me to use this brand for my face as well as my body. I use the EltaMD UV clear broad-spectrum spf 46 untinted for sensitive facial skin ie rosacea, acne, hyperpigmentation, etc for my face and have been for well over a year and love it! Before this summer began I asked my dermatologist about what spf would be good to use on my body. I dont actively lay in the sun or go to the pool or anything, but I do walk at least 3 miles outside everyday and needed something for my arms, neck, shoulders, legs, etc and she suggested this sport broad-spectrum spf 50 by EltaMD. I love it! Its a thicker texture than the facial spf I use, but rubs in really nicely and protects my skin! I use it everyday! I even bought the 3 oz tube of the sport sunscreen to keep at my desk and carry in my bag for easy reapplies throughout my day.

I get sun protection I need with no white film. I love it. My skin feels soft with hydration. I get compliments on my skin even if I wear no foundation. I would definitely recommend regardless of other sunscreens you are using. I select sunscreen depending on where I am going and how long I will be in sun. Great product

Greatly daily sunscreen. It gives my skin a nice healthy glow while protecting it from the suns not so healthy glow. I could see where people might feel like it makes them look greasy, but I dont personally get that feeling.

Good, dependable, everyday mineral sunscreen I pre-ordered the 1.7 fl oz and was excited to try it out. I have used it a few times now. My skin type is combination, sensitive and acne-prone. Pros - there is no noticeable white cast on my skin tone (medium) once it blends in because its very runny in texture (similar to Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50), it suited my sensitive skin without visible redness or breakouts, relatively easy to reapply Cons - it is very slick and gives the skin an oily appearance (not matte at all), even though it is lightweight there is a feeling of having a layer sitting on top of your skin so in that sense its not cosmetically elegant I have not tried it under makeup yet but I think makeup would sit heavy on top of this. Overall, its one of the better mineral sunscreens Ive tried.

Perfect for Dry Skin! My skin is really dry and I have found it difficult to find a good sunscreen for myself. Full chemical sunscreens tend to break me out, but full mineral sunscreens tend to be too drying due to the mineral powders that need to be used to formulate it. I love that this one is a combination sunscreen, it really is the best of both options. I have tried a few other Elta MD sunscreens, such as UV Clear, but this is my favorite by far. This is because the UV Clear kind of has more or a matte dry down, but the UV Sport is more dewy. I do not get irritated using this sunscreen and I appreciate a dewy finish after applying. Since I have very dry skin, I am always looking for something that makes me look moisturized. I didnt have any issues with this sunscreen drying weird in my routine.

Great sunscreen, even when swimming This is my favorite sunscreen. I have sensitive skin that reacts easily to some products, but Elta SPORT has always been great for me. Absorbs quickly and doesnt become greasy when Im active outdoors or swimming. I will warn other customers of a mistake I made. Elta also makes ACTIVE sunscreen, which I accidentally bought one time. Definitely not the same product, as the ingredients are different. It left a thick white haze on my skin that I had to scrub off. Weird, but it happened.

Relieved to find something that works I have extremely sensitive and reactive skin. Like, when I try a new product theres a 95% chance itll break me out. I often get red patches that itch along with acne. I have tried maybe 40 different facial sunscreens and was honestly about to give up but then I found THIS one! I have been wearing this everyday for 2 months and havent experienced a breakout. The product goes on smoothly and gives me a wonderful glow. Most days I wear it under a pressed powder but sometimes I wear it alone and I feel confident enough with my skin. I will say that when I do wear it under my powder, I will let it sink into my skin for like 10 minutes before applying anything else. At first it is a little sticky but its just because its so moisturizing which is great for my skin.

While I live in a tropical climate it is so important to get the correct products needed to combat the effects of aging and to dreaded sun damage exposures. I love the sun and often exercise in it daily. So I would need the utmost protection. My dermatologist recommended ELTA MD Skincare. This product offers fantastic UVA/UVB Protection. So I purchased this online as I was not able to find it locally in stores where I live. I went with the UV Sport Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 and this product works great. It has the compound ingredients to perform and protect you that many other sunscreens on the market do not. The products in most drug stores do not fit the bill. I would gladly pay a little more for quality and feel comfortable knowing that a product works and exists on the market.
