I initially used this product after my first microneedling procedure and I loved how my skin reacted to it - I have quite sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate it at all! I’ve started using this as a more regular cleanser and it’s become my new favorite! Thank you Ellemes for the extra goodies!!

I fall in the sensitive skin category. I was a bit nervous to use the product because of that. I am excited to say that it did not cause any issues with my skin. I only need to use one pump and that is enough for my entire face. I rub it in using circular motions. I wait for a few minutes and use warm water to rinse it off. My skin feels so hydrated and clean afterwards. I feel its very gentle on my sensitive skin and I would highly recommend the Elta brand to anyone looking for a new facial product.

This feels really great on your skin with a minimal scent. The packaging is also minimal which is my preference. My skin feels really clean when I use this but it also feels really healthy. This product does not damage your skin barrier and actually is proven to strengthen it! It doesnt contain any ingredients that are damaging. I have really sensitive skin and this doesnt irritate it at all. I love this product and will add it to my regular routine and purchase it in the future.

I love everything about this foam cleanser! I have large pores so I cannot skip my morning cleanse. I worry about using a harsh cleanser in the morning. On days I do not wear makeup, I dont want a super strong cleanse. I want something to nurture my skin, baby it, sooth it and treat it with love. This cleanser does all of those things for me. I pump of foam and I feel like Im giving back to the skin that I take so much from. Is it going to remove stubborn makeup(?), no. But is definitely going to treat your skin with care.

Made me breakout. Although I use this brands moisturizer (which I love); the cleanser made me breakout, I was disappointed. Was not sure I liked the foam texture, but it did make my skin feel smooth and clean. I have mature skin and dry in the winter months it did not make my skin feel dry. After using the cleanser for a few weeks I determined it was the culprit that made me breakout in little red splotches and small pimples. It cleared as soon as I stopped using the product. This may be fine for other customers but it did not work well for me and my skin.

This is the first Elta MD product that Ive had a chance to try and I was impressed. I am in my mid 40s with very dry, sensitive skin. I used this as a second step cleanse. In the past, foaming cleansers have dried out my skin, but this didnt! It has a nice texture and was effective and cleansing my skin. Since it does not contain any added fragrance, it has a very slight chemical smell but it is not bothersome and it is preferable to fragrance. Overall I am very happy with this product.

The scent is a bit much. I wish skincare products were scent free. The packaging is nice and the pump style applicator is perfect for a foam cleanser. I tried this alone to remove makeup and sunscreen (EltaMD sunscreen) and it was okay, but didnt get the clean-clean feeling I get with a double cleanse. I also used it after using an oil cleanser and it wasnt enough. I needed something stronger than foam to help clear the oil. Not my favorite cleanser but Id use it in a pinch.

Not as good as its predecessor. I was a HUGE foaming gel cleanser fan — never used anything better in my adult life — this is fine as far as foaming cleansers go. The pH is the same so it doesnt irritate my skin, so if you had no issues with the original you shouldnt any issue with this one. However, it doesnt “feel” as gentle but more “foamy” — and like you have to use much more of it. In fact, Im going through it twice as fast. Ill continue to purchase it because the pH is just too ideal for my skin but its not a favourite anymore whatsoever.

Lightweight, non-stripping and big lather! First foaming cleanser Ive liked in YEARS. While its fragrance-free and gentle, I still wouldnt rely on this for make-up removal alone, especially eye make-up. Love it after an oil cleanser, first thing in the morning, or on no make-up days. My husband, who is recovering from a skin infection, has been loving it and seeing great relief from the dryness and redness from his antibiotics. Weve already bought more.

Love love love this cleanser from EltaMD! I didnt realize that they made more than sunscreen—such a pleasant surprise from such a reputable brand! I love that its fragrance free and the way it leaves my skin feeling. 1 pump is honestly all I need to thoroughly wash my face, and especially since its foaming, it feels like a lot of bang for your buck. This is seriously 10/10 the best for sensitive skin.

This cleanser is very light. It comes out in an easy foam that glides across your skin. I like that there is no scent to this. I have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate it. The foam is almost so light I didnt feel like it was doing all that much. My skin felt soft and fresh but I didnt notice a drastic difference. I feel a lot of foams are like this. It was nice to be able to try but not sure I would use it regularly.

Im a licensed esthetician and this brand is one of those brands that I work with everyday. I decided to use for 2 weeks to tell my experience about the effectiveness. Yes! It is effective! It cleans the skin removing makeup, sunscreen, pollution without drying the skin. The only cons about this product is that it burns my eyes and I tried to clean the makeup on that area and for me a cleanser that claims to clean makeup needs to be effective and gentle for the eye area too.

Im enjoying this cleanser so far. Although its a little foamy for my preference, it gets the job done. I would suggest using this face wash if you dont want to spend too much time cleansing your face. My face is so shiny and clean after using! Thats the best I could ask for when using a cleanser. I also love how the foam wash is not irritating, which usually seems to be the case with most foam washes.

I would never have guessed this was the cleanser I needed. Its a gentle foaming cleanser that removes everything from your face without leaving your face dry. It doesnt have fragrance, parabens and other endocrine disruptors. My face was nice and supple after using the cleanser and the next steps of my skincare seemed to be more effective.
