I’ve been using Skinceuticals for many years and love it. However, the Retexturing Activator did not work for me. It left my skin feeling sticky hours later. I returned it and as always, the customer service is excellent.

SkinCeuticals Retexturing Activator I’m a big fan of Skin Ceuticals products. I’m 56 and my skin gets drier now that I am getting older. This is a great product. The price point is high but if you feel like splurging it doesn’t disappoint.

Retexturizing Activator Serum is great for my dry skin. I've had dry skin since I was a teenager and had to use face cream since about 13 yrs old. This serum really helps prevent my skin looking dry and flaky later in the day, when all skin cream seems to quit working! I hope you keep making this serum, and wish the cost had not risen $20 a bottle in the past two years; the cost is becoming prohibitive!

Product was sent as of November 18, 2025, carrier couldn't sent it to my place despite this product is a subscription and having different products sent to my place every few months. I love the retexturing activator. It evens my skin tone and makes fine lines disappear. It also minimizes my pores. I’m 58 and able to wear minimal makeup most days. I’ve used lots of other products and keep coming back to this product.

this product works so well. I am using it once a day at night and my skin really looks so much more hydrated. The only downside to this product is it is very expensive.

More Than Just an Exfoliator I have used different products from SkinCeuticals but this is by far my favorite as it has shown the quickest and most dramatic results. After one full day of using it, I noticed my pores looked smaller, complexion was a bit more clearer and even, acne reduced, and my skin looked like I had a filter on it. It has also helped with reducing fine lines from wrinkles.

Wow Ive never thought that I had rough skin, but I also know it wasnt flawless. Im 45 and have chicken skin around one of my eyes, that crease in between my brows, and a few little scar-like bumps. Ive been using this for about two weeks and noticed the other day that my skin is legitimately smoother.

For sensitive or sensitized skin that cant tolerate exfoliants I love the RA because its an amazing option for skin that might not be tolerating exfoliants like glycolic acid. Perhaps you over exfoliated, or youll be doing a series of professional treatments. In my ~3 years using this, its consistently diminished surface/expression lines, softened/hydrated my skin, smoothed areas where pores are very visible. It simultaneously moisturizes while exfoliating.

Im Liking It I love all SkinCeutical products and decided to give this one a try. I only use this at night due to the thick consistency of this serum, and I use it in conjunction with my retinol and night cream. I honestly cant say that I see a huge difference though, and that is because I think my skin already looks pretty good.

New holy grail product! I rarely write reviews unless I feel it is a must. I received a sample of this with my order earlier this year and fell in love! When I woke up, my skin was hydrated, and the peeling patches were gone! My skin looks and feels amazing.

Great acne-fighting tool Ive added this to my routine at night and I notice my acne and acne scars noticeably improved. I have sensitive skin and this doesnt burn, sting, or make my face red at all.

Fabulous product I have been using Retexturing Activator for a couple of years. I only use it at night. From the first drop, I was hooked. It feels like a luxurious treat for my skin. Its formulation doesnt irritate my sensitive skin, and I love how it provides an instant boost of hydration, and the following morning, my skin feels renewed.

Wonderful Exfoliation for Reactive Skin Ive been a Tretinoin user since 2020 and have always hesitated to try this formula due to sensitivity/reactivity to AHAs and other exfoliators. Recently introduced this formula, alternating nights with Tretinoin, and have had NO irritation yet it is still effective, and I have a bit of a glow in the morning.

Excellent product I am 57 years old and still prone to clogged pores and breakouts. I use the retexturizing activator every other night, switching off with my tretinoin, and I have less dryness, fewer breakouts, and less hyperpigmentation.

solid 4.5 stars I started to develop small hard lumps on my forehead after having IPL. After the first night I saw a difference; the lumps had actually shrunk! This is one of the few products that Ive used the whole bottle, so that says a lot.

I adore this serum! This serum has a lightweight, silky texture and I use it nightly under my moisturizer. My skin looks plump and supple, the dry patches on my chin and around my lips are no longer there, and the texture of my skin is smooth to the touch.

My skin drinks it right up! I have never loved a product more. This was the first product my dermatologist recommended when I was dealing with texture and acne. You can use a very small amount and then use your daily moisturizer/sunscreen after.

Great Exfoliator! I have been using AHAs/BHAs in my routine for the better part of a decade. I love this product. Ive been using it for a little over a month. It feels much more gentle than glycolic acid, but more effective. My skin looks visibly brighter and softer.

Retexturing Activator I purchased this three weeks ago to treat discoloration and boost hydration due to dryness from using retinol. I have combination skin and am 41. Its too early to tell but so far, I like this product.

Serum is good for sensitive skin I like the serum; it helps with moisture and it evens out skin texture. I noticed a difference in 2 weeks.

Amazing when used with other products For me, this is not a product that on its own works miracles. I love how hydrating it is and I did see some mild changes in texture over a couple of months but none in terms of breakouts.
