I used the Skinceuticals Cell Catalyst in preparation for a CO2 laser treatment. I healed really fast, and I think the Cell Catalyst played a part in my healing so fast.

I use many SkinCeuticals products, and I love a lot of them. I have combination skin and my t-zone is prone to break out. I like how the liquid consistency is light and not greasy, when you put it on it absorbs really quickly. Doesn't cause any skin irritation or any acne. I can see that it brightens my skin a bit and improves the texture. However, I think I didn't use long enough to really see a big difference.

I have used this product exactly 2 weeks due to the sample size. As others remark it has a stopper that you squeeze product that is exactly like water. It is not heavy, sticky or serum like so it's best to use clean fingers to pat gently on your face. Due to not being very spreadable I suggest using a roller device like quartz for even application. I am thrilled with the results after only a few days of using this product. It actually is a catalyst! It's not sticky or oily, and goes on smoothly like water. Scent is not too strong. I use it in the morning after taking a shower and washing my face. Ive been using this product every morning since I received it 6 days ago, and my sample is just about gone. It has no scent to it at all. Its not a thick serum - its a very thin liquid, and literally feels like Im putting water on my face. I do not see any difference in the appearance of my fine lines, pore size, radiance or clarity of my skin, as advertised. Although I have only been using it for 6 days. I would need a larger sample to give a real honest opinion about this product.

While I was excited to try this product, I wasn't sure it would work for me because I am usually pretty breakout-prone. I saw changes in my skin after only a few uses. At first, I had some peeling on my nose and cheekbones. After the peeling was done the texture of my skin was noticeably improved. My pores are much smaller and my skin is smoother overall. I did not notice a huge change in my dark spots but they were lightened some. I removed one star due to the viscosity of the serum. I've noticed less redness overall and I have sensitive oily skin. I've also noticed slightly less oil and shine in my t-zone. Unfortunately, this product caused a burning sensation and so it is not suitable for me personally. If you have sensitive skin, I would be aware of that.
