This is a good product which I have used for years but I was disappointed because I noticed my container was not completely full. I did shake container down to see how much I really got and it was 3/4 full. I did take photo but no way to submit.

For me, this is the perfect cleanser. It is super gentle on the skin and hydrating - which is crucial for me as I have very dry skin. It also is really good at removing makeup, which typically isn’t the norm for gentler cleansers. Have a feeling I’ll be sticking with this one for a while!

Although it seems to be gentle as its name indicates, it does NOT remove makeup, especially water proof eye makeup, as the description claims. Very disappointed.

I bought this for the "gentle" cleansing aspect. I used it for a couple of weeks and noticed my skin becoming increasingly irritated, eventually forming a bumpy hive-like rash. Since it was the only change to my regimen, I narrowed the cause to this product and suspect that the citric acid might be the culprit.

Great skin cleanser. One of my favorites and my new go-to. When scrubbing off eye make-up, I can get the product in my eyes with no irritation. Removes make-up and rinses off well in the shower or with a wet cloth. Leaves just enough moisture on the skin in preparation of layering other products. I will be re-ordering for sure as I like to keep one in the shower and one on my bathroom counter.

I ordered this not noticing that it is a non-foamy cream. It smells wonderful, but personally, I do not like creamy face washes. It feels like the cream does not wash off completely and stays on your face. It does not remove make-up too well. I like having the pump, I will use this up, but I will not repurchase. Will try a foaming cleanser next time.

I’m a person that never washed makeup off at the end of the day. I moved to using the pre-moistened wipes that I would periodically use to remove makeup. I never had skin problems and didn’t see why others used cleansers. I bought the full-sized bottle and have been consistently using it to wash my face morning and night. I'm so surprised this has so many great reviews for removing makeup because it didn't do that at all. I had sunscreen and a tinted moisturizer on my face, and it didn't remove much of anything. Excellent Creamy Cleanser - Smells of Natural Citrus. This is my favorite creamy cleanser, and I only use this one now, followed by a light foaming cleanser in my t-zone. Not as gentle as I hoped. I bought this cleanser because it's advertised as super gentle. I really liked it at first, but after a week of using it I developed an allergic reaction. My skin got red, especially around my eyes, and it felt like burning. Upon reviewing the ingredients list, I found that this cleanser contains citrus, like orange oil, which is an allergen. Very disappointed!

Great product for rosacea skin. I suffered from slight rosacea due to irritation from a terrible product two years ago. I could not use any products since then. Most of the time I didn't even wash my face because it would get itchy. After trying many products, I finally found this one, and it did not cause any irritation. Now my face has stopped itching and drying. This is really a great product, and it will be the only one I use.

Good, not great. I really wanted to love this cleanser, and I almost do. It removes most of my lightweight makeup well, has a beautiful scent, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. However, eye makeup removal is a problem. Even with gentle massage, there seem to be stubborn remnants of mascara left. I dont usually need eye makeup remover with other products.

Wouldnt purchase again. When I use this cleanser I always feel as though my face isnt getting clean because the product doesnt foam at all - which I did know prior to purchasing. It also says this is a gentle cleanser but this cleanser is still very drying for me.

Great for dry, sensitive skin. Does not leave the skin tight, but it still cleans well. The only bad thing is the bottle design—it leaves about a third at the bottom that is hard to get out. Even banging it upside down doesn't work. They should change the bottle design to ensure you can use all the product.

I've used this product for myself and on clients for about five years. It is a great, creamy cleanser with a nice subtle orange scent. It leaves moisture in the skin and is gentle for sensitive skin. However, since they changed the formulation, I dont like it as much. Also, the pump stops working when a third of the bottle is left, making it hard to get the rest of the product out.

The best face wash Ive ever used. I have tried countless cleansers, and they either left my face dry, irritated or with a sticky residue. This one is perfect. It leaves your skin so soft and bright. It also helps with textural issues. My skin builds up a lot of dry, dead skin and scaly patches, and this takes them right off. I have super sensitive skin and experienced zero irritation. I hope they never change the formula of this product.

I love the cleanser itself, but the packaging is awful! Once it is 3/4ths used, it is very hard to get the remainder out because of the container. Can you make a softer container? The one you use for your exfoliant is great!

Oh so gentle. This cleanser was recommended to me by an esthetician who understood how sensitive my skin is and I have now used it for several years and I love it. It removes makeup and leaves my skin lightly moisturized. If I have worn heavier makeup, I might follow it with another cleanser for a double wash. My only issue is that it is very difficult to dispense when you reach the bottom of the bottle.

Frustrated customer. This is getting very frustrating. If you are going to promote people staying consistent with their skincare routine, then you should consistently carry the products that they need to use. Not my favorite scent. The face wash feels very soft on your face, but if youre looking for something that suds up a little bit, this is not the face wash for you. Not rich enough. Disappointing for SkinCeuticals product. I use SkinCeuticals products, but this isnt up to the same standard. Its titled as a gentle cleanser, but is more like a drugstore face wash. I used another cleanser I loved, but now I’m in search of a replacement.

Lovely! Of all the things I noticed first, I love the glass bottle. It feels expensive. Anyway, great gentle cleanser. I feel like my face is fully clean after use. My only complaint is it advertises that it removes eye makeup. It isnt the worst, but lots of my mascara is definitely left behind. No big deal. Just something to note. Smells lovely. Will buy again.

Good product, bad package! I really wanted to love this cleanser! It almost meets my expectations: nice essential oil smell, creamy texture, and soothing feeling. However, I hate the package! The pump stopped working when there was still half of the product in the bottle and no matter what I tried it just couldnt pump any cream out. Now I have to twist open the pump cap and use the straw to dig into the slim bottle and get some cleanser out each time. What a bummer!

The BEST! I have autoimmune diseases and they unfortunately affect my skin...this is the ONLY cleanser I have tried (and I have tried them all) that doesnt irritate my face. Other gentle cleansers make my face red, peel, make it dry and cause breakouts. This makes my skin smooth, comfortable, healthy, and clear. If you are on the fence about trying this, dont hesitate...it really is the BEST one out there!

Great cleanser! I am very particular about my cleansers and I REALLY like this one! Feels soothing and moisturizing on skin. Good if youre looking for something simple and sensitive. Does not leave your skin feeling tight. Note: If you're wearing makeup or SPF, this cleanser is great as a second cleanse (after using an oil or balm). Good to use alone if you're not wearing makeup.

Great for extra dry skin. My mom has been using this for a while and she really likes it, so when my skin became super dry this winter I decided to try it. So far, I like it. Its creamy and smooth, almost pillowy and calming on the skin. It almost feels like it isnt really cleansing your face but I havent had any breakouts so its doing the job. It has a very light scent, almost imperceptible, but when you do get the scent it smells like a waft of citrus.

Best cleanser for removing makeup. So happy this cleanser is finally back in stock. This is the best cleanser for removing makeup while also moisturizing. It leaves the skin soft and supple. I follow with a foaming cleanser for a double cleanse.

I really enjoy this product. It is easy on my sensitive skin and doesnt leave skin feeling stripped or dry. It has a nice scent and has really helped my dry, acne-prone, sensitive skin.

Simple face cleanser. I love this stuff because its super gentle and takes all of my makeup off. It smells like oranges and is very refreshing. Doesnt leave my face sticky or tacky. It doesnt suds up, which bothered me at first, but I got used to it, and a little goes a long way. A little pricey, but itll last you a while! Good stuff!

Fantastic cleanser. I love the scent. It is on the creamy side and always cleans out makeup and dirt. However, the price is a turnoff for me. I was forced to buy this to use after harsh skin treatments as a gentle cleanser, and for that, it was great. I would buy this again only if the price dropped to $22 or so. $60+ is just too excessive for a cleanser.

Perfect cleanser. Ive been using this cleanser for a couple years and I love it! It doesn’t strip skin moisture, and my skin always feels soft and silky after use. It has a nice subtle orange scent which is pleasant without being overly scented. As this is a cream cleanser, it does not foam much, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t doing its job! Great for a variety of skin types. For reference, I have combination skin and live in a dry climate (Denver).

Very gentle cleanser! I love every SkinCeuticals product Ive tried, especially the Gentle Cleanser! None of the other cleansers Ive tried over the years can compare. It thoroughly removes all traces of makeup, oil, etc., and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, without the tightness of other cleansers. After using at night, my face feels soft and moisturized the next morning.

Recommended by dermal therapist. Great cleanser for mature skin. Using this as I have been having laser treatment and using a prescription retinol, so this maintains my skins barrier.

Gentle and soothing! I really enjoy this cleanser. I have combination-dry skin that is very prone to dry spots as well as being acne-prone. I struggle to find a cleanser that thoroughly cleansed my face but did not strip it. This cleanser has a nice cream texture and rinses off completely. It did not cause me to break out, so all in all, its very nice.

Great product. Gentle cleaner that does a fantastic job at removing makeup (including setting spray) but also does not hurt my sensitive skin. I easily converted over to this from my old face wash with no issues. Only con is if you get the smaller bottle, its a pain to get out the last pumps at the end and you have to tip it upside down and unscrew the pump to get out the last of the product.
