I love the product so much, I’ve been buying it since I discovered it. The only issue is their bottle, the tip part always starts to peeling off and I have had a couple bottles.

Worked for my husband but not for me. I was hoping this could be an everyday lotion but I had an allergic reaction days after using this. It works well for my husband.

This is a very smooth, creamy but also lightweight lotion to use anytime when you need moisturizing. I use another product as a night cream but after having some light laser done, I used this product day and night on my face with excellent results - no irritation (I have very sensitive skin) and kept my face completely moisturized. I dab on a layer beneath my tinted moisturizer and over my CE Fereulic on extra cold/dry days with really good results.

I have extremely sensitive skin and don't do well with active ingredients. I wanted something gentle to work with aging, but unfortunately, this made me break out terribly. My skin was bumpy and irritated for weeks. Do not recommend if you're sensitive.

This product feels extremely silicone-y, and you can definitely feel a film settle over your skin after using it. However, paired with retinol, it’s chef’s kiss. Using this before or after a retinol greatly reduced my irritation and dryness. It’s also super hydrating and lightweight but packs a punch. I believe it helped repair my skin barrier.

It’s still too early to tell what the overall benefits of using this product are going to be, but it feels delicious and I love using it for the “sandwich” method when I’m applying my retinol at night. The only thing bothersome is the bottle's design—it has measurement lines that are useless since you can't see inside. I started noting how long each bottle lasts to track it myself.

I have fair, slightly dry, sensitive skin with concerns about color correction and occasional hormonal acne. I used a small sample for four days, and it completely cleared up the zits on my chin and evened out all my redness. This moisturizer is light and kind of a satin texture so not overly greasy or heavy. My esthetician recommended this for my skin. You may need more moisture in the winter months. I just finished treatment with a medication to help my acne and improve my oiliness. I had very oily skin before starting treatment, and now have normal to dry skin. METACELL Made my skin glow!! After much research I purchased METACELL Renewal B3 because I wanted a product with vitamin B3. The first time I applied it I was sceptical about if it would help but continued to apply it in am and alternate nights over Hydrating B5 gel. After two weeks my skin texture started to improve!! Skinceuticals Metacell Renewal B3 is a lightweight moisturizer. Great for summer for any skin type. It is a superior quality product like all Skinceuticals products. It did not quite work for me. It gave me a breakout in my chin area. Though I found a new use for it as an eye cream. I usually put it on wet skin under my eyes and it works great! Very soothing and it fills in those tiny wrinkles from the sun. Overall I do recommend this moisturizer!

Does not irritate my sensitive skin. Extended use has lightened hyper-pigmentation. It has not prevented new spots. In my hot, humid climate it is all the moisturizer I need for most of the year.

Amazing I have never used a better moisturiser in my life. Even though it's expensive and actual quantity inside is less, the product gives great results. I immediately noticed my skin was glowing and the dark patches on my face went away. When I stopped using, they came back. I just wish the quantity was more- because the bottle is not full, there is a bag inside that contains the product. This reduces the amount.

I purchased this product in 2015. After reading the reviews and ingredients, I decided to take a chance. Glad I did! It took three applications to notice the difference on my skin. Much softer, smoother, and the brown spots on my face started fading in about 2 weeks. My husband even noticed the difference. My right cheek is almost clear, while my left has more sun damage, but its improving too.

This is a nice, thick B3 product, best applied at night. It goes on easily and has good slip. It makes my skin feel softer and seems to reduce redness when used consistently. I put it on last in my skincare regimen. Because it is so thick, I can't add other moisturizer on top without it pilling. I prefer this one to SC triple lipid restore for the texture.

Perfect moisturizer with niacinamide This stuff is great. I'm ordering it for the second time so I don't have to go a day without it. The serum consistency glides on smoothly and a little goes a long way. The niacinamide helps my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. It's non-greasy, non-irritating and a perfect moisturizer for my combination skin in the humid Florida summer.

This product feels like a gel-lotion hybrid and soaks in quickly. My dark spots on my forehead and cheeks diminished significantly. Tones My Skin and Evens Skin Clarity I first purchased this product a few years ago and returned it after about two weeks because I didn't see any results. This time, I used the product more consistently and saw great results! My skin tone evened out from a lot of hyperpigmentation and appeared brighter to me. The texture is very thin and pleasant, especially during these summer months. Definitely recommend!

New Summertime Favorite I was nervous to try this as I generally use a thicker moisturizer for my dry middle-aged skin. I was surprised to find it still gave me the moisture I wanted despite being lightweight. Full disclosure I did mix it with my facial oil and I use it after applying their B5 hydrating gel. No breakouts. No sticky feeling just soft hydrated skin. Glad I gave it a try.

Moderately Benefit for Retinoid Irritation Started using the Metacell B3 serum at night following application of a topical retinoid and noticed moderate improvement in skin sensitivity after about one week of regular use. The retinoid previously caused my skin to peel and turn red during warm weather even with religious sunscreen application. With the addition of this B3 serum, the redness disappeared and the peeling improved but didnt entirely go away. For the price, I had hoped for more effect...

So far, so good I recently turned 40 and wanted a cream that would hydrate and help the overall appearance of my skin. I apply this cream in the mornings before sunscreen and makeup application. It absorbs nicely and my skin feels hydrated and soft. I have noticed a difference already in that my skin is smoother and more even tone. I also apply this cream to my neck and décolletage to smooth out fine lines and am seeing results there also.

Perfect, light lotion After receiving a light chemical peel, my provider recommended I try SkinCeuticals Metacell Renewal B-3 Lotion. It is so light and airy, compared to my daily moisturizer. I liked its feel so much, that I went right home and ordered the product.

Post sample purchase I received a sample of this and it was so great I purchased a bottle. The directions say you should rub it into your skin until it is absorbed - I wasnt doing this initially - so things may improve more as I continue to use it. I do notice my skin is softer and more even toned when I wake.

Not loving this one I'm a bit on the fence about this product. I love everything in the line, but this serum seems a bit, well...meh. Does it work? Not sure. It has a lovely texture and glides on smoothly, but other than that, I can't say that it has the horsepower of other products. No regrets on trying it, but most likely would not purchase it again.

Great daytime moisturizer I have combination skin that gets a little drier in the winter. I’ve been using this after the CE Ferulic in the morning for some extra hydration without increasing oiliness. I use before sunscreen/tinted moisturizer.

Great skincare routine addition This serum is really great to pair with other skincare products. I like to apply it at night right before applying retinol to minimize any retinol side effects (e.g, redness, peeling, dry skin, etc). My skin is very sensitive so using this product really helps with keeping my skin calm and moisturized. Highly recommended!

Light and smooth I have been using it for over 4 months now. I love it. It goes on like a serum and you massage it in until it absorbs into the skin. I use it as my daytime moisturizer because I live in a humid, hot climate so it is a perfect, lightweight option before sunscreen. No breakouts, even with masks and sweat. Will continue to purchase.

New Fave!!! I have very oily skin t-zone and also have some discoloration due to sun exposure and my esthetician recommended this so I decided to give this a try and so far, I absolutely love it! It's lightweight but very hydrating for the drier parts of my skin. It's not greasy or heavy at all. I can also tell a little difference in some of the darker spots on my forehead! I will certainly continue to use this!!!

So Glad I Found This After seeing this mentioned in many reviews as a standard ingredient to regimes, I decided to give it a try. My almost 70 years old skin just loves this. Used as directed 2 times daily, my skin is more supple and smoother. Seems firmer. It feels wonderful going on. It is rich and a little goes a long way. Wont be without it.

Great light moisturizer I had been using another product but it kept pilling whenever I’d layer it with another product as if sitting on top of my skin and not absorbing. I switched to this product and love it. It’s a great light moisturizer. It comes out like a cream but rubs in like a watery serum and absorbs completely. I don’t need a ton of moisture though as my skin is on the oily side and this is the perfect light amount.

Light moisturizer I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. Metacell Renewal is the best light moisturizer I've ever used. It moisturizes without greasiness or breakouts. It also smooths out lines and wrinkles. I use it under face cream during the day and another product at night.

Good nighttime moisture I like this for nighttime use only. It is thick and can pill if used with too many other products. It feels super moisturizing and does reduce redness if used consistently. I like the feel of this overall as it goes on smooth. Smell is fine, not much there. Will repurchase.

Super effective anti-aging moisturizer I love this moisturizer. I have used this every morning for about 5 years. This is very light but also very moisturizing, actually much more moisturizing than most facial lotions I have tried, and it has the added benefits of peptides to help with anti-aging. I do believe that it has helped my skin stay plump and firm over the years. Strongly recommend.

Excellent I ordered my first bottle, and I really like it. I use this cream in the morning before my sunscreen and I use another product at night. I can tell my skin looks fantastic. I can get up in the morning with no makeup. I highly recommend it.

Have just began using but already can tell the difference.

This stuff is magical. If I ever happen to skip this part in the process, the wrinkles around my eyes are VERY noticeable in the morning. But with it, I wake up looking fresh and my skin has so much moisture, without the greasy look or feel.

I have never been more in love with a product brand

I absolutely love this product! I've been using this since 2019 I believe. My skin began to feel smoother, with less wrinkles and felt more youthful after maybe 1-2 weeks. But individual results may vary person to person. I use it twice daily after cleansing, toning and using the B5 hydrating gel. Its pricey, but worth it!!
