I,ve been using this product for more than a year, and love it

This is the only sunscreen/foundation I use. It blends flawlessly into my skin and leaves a light coverage base for my powder.

Longtime Physical Fusion user here. This rating reflects the updated product packaging and pricing. The elimination of a value size is extremely disappointing; the small size is comically small for the price, and as a loyal customer I feel ripped off. I hope Skinceuticals takes the feedback and reintroduces a larger size at a more competitive price.

This is the absolute best SPF ever. Non-greasy, no smell and is the only formula that doesn't make me break out. It has a wonderful matte finish and looks like you're wearing a little bit of foundation. It's my Holy Grail of SPF. Highly recommend.

Looks great on my skin but there is an awful smell! I see other reviewers with similar complaints and wondering if I got one from a bad lot.. super disappointing. The smell makes it kind of unbearable to put on

This is my favorite sunscreen! My previous fave was EltaMD 41, but this is even better! It’s liquidy and lightweight, and is perfect for the days that I don’t want to wear foundation. It does a great job of evening out your skin tone without looking like you have anything on. Here is my skin with just this sunscreen, Benefit Benetint + High Beam, and mascara! Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look.

Bern using the tinted version for over 10 years. Love it. However, when I try to order more, the large size has been discontinued. Only the small size is available. Smaller size is 50ml for about $45 or $50. I usually order the 125 ml for about $72. I normally order from Lovely Skin but also checked blue Mercury, the Derm Store and SkinCeuticals website. Not available anywhere. I then googled the question and it came up saying that SkinCeuticals had discontinued the larger size. I will be switch...

Did the formula of this sunscreen change? This used to be my holy grail sunscreen for 2+ years, but my two most recent bottles have resulted in fungal acne/closed comedones. I initially thought I just received a faulty bottle, but when I reordered the same thing happened again :(

This is the only “make-up/foundation” I’ve used for over 6-years. I use it daily and love the results!

Using this daily has been more helpful to my rosacea than anything else I have tried. It has a light feel that I dont mind on my face and it doesnt make me break out or get milia. I love it.

The sunscreen applies well and feels light. However, I believe the zinc oxide dries out my skin. I dont wear makeup, and the tint felt a little grimy on my face at the end of the day, and I had a hard time washing it entirely off.

Excellent sunscreen for fair skin. Love the way it is absorbed into the skin with no sticky residue. Definitely keeps the sunrays at bay.

This is honestly the most important skincare and beauty product I own. My skin is sensitive to foundation. With this product, I am able to even out the look of my skin tone and keep myself protected. I hope they never stop making it!

As long as you keep this formula, I will keep buying this sunscreen. I wear it instead of foundation. The tint gives me a little color and the lotion goes on smoothly. The result is a healthy glow on nearly poreless skin.

I have very sensitive skin and this is one of the only facial sunscreens I can use. It doesnt sting my eyes or make me breakout. Its definitely worth the cost.

I didnt love the gray cast it has. Its a thin product, very runny.

Love this sunscreen!!! Goes on weightless and melts into your skin! I am a fair girl and it doesnt leave me looking orange! It doesnt feel heavy or pill if you add makeup on top either.

I really wanted to like this tinted lotion and I like the thin liquid texture. What I do not like is the strong metal-like odor it has. Its gross. I wont buy it again.

Absolutely love this facial sunscreen! I have fair cool toned skin and every other tinted SPF looks orange on me. This is the only sunscreen that has a perfect color match for me. I also have acne-prone skin and have not had any breakouts. My only complaint is I wish it didnt dry down semi-matte.

I have used this brand for years. Most sunscreens cause me to break out in rashes. This one is fine for my sensitive skin. Also, no one even knows I have sunscreen on—it is invisible. I put it on every day first thing in the morning so I dont forget. I am 77, but constantly get compliments on my skin!

I really like this sunscreen. It has a soft tint and goes on very nicely over my serum. Smooth and even on. NO WHITE which is important. I am 72 and have used SkinCeuticals products for years. Makes a difference.

I personally have a problem with smells and this did not smell delightful. I could just smell it throughout the day. It was also overly liquified, so it was difficult to place on. I however did like the coloration and sheerness of the sunscreen.

I like this product quite a bit and have had it in the larger bottle for a long time. I wanted a more up-to-date liquid so ordered the smaller bottle. The product in the bottle seems the same, but the small bottle doesnt release the liquid gradually as the large bottle does. Instead, the liquid comes pouring out and makes a mess.

I love this product. It is light, covers any skin perfections and has sunscreen! It definitely ticks all of the right boxes.

I have been using physical fusion, UV defense sunscreen for the last 8+ years. I wear it daily and no longer need to use foundation because it has a little tint. Its very lightweight and also evens out my skin tone reducing the need for concealer. I dont know what I will do if they ever discontinue this product.

Not oily after a day of wear. I love the subtle tint to this sunscreen my only complaint is that it gets flaky really easily! I will definitely be ordering the sheer tinted to see if its any better once I finish this bottle.

I’m using this product because my dermatologist asked me to, tinted sunscreen wouldnt be my first choice. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It doesnt leave any residue, feels good on my skin, and is barely noticeable as a tint. I agree with others that there is a different smell to it but I dont find it to be terribly bad. It dissipates quickly.

A bit runny, but the Physical Fusion Defense is, so far, a great product. It absorbs quickly, and there is no white cast on my olive skin. The tint is so subtle. I dont put on foundation, and my skin tone is even. I have used for about 2 weeks, but Im already sure that I will reorder.

I have been using this for a couple years now and love it. I have mild rosacea and always look for something with a tint and this really helps! It dries matte and I cant even feel that I am wearing it—so lightweight! I just wish they had makeup I would love a bb cream but might switch to just using this everyday.

From BB Cream/CC creme to this—I’ve been searching for a great blend of sunscreen and tinted shade that blends well to my natural skin color and this, by far, is excellent at making my face look smooth and radiant! I used to think this sunscreen was too runny, but now I use it as my daily sunscreen/makeup and it’s all I have to wear! I apply it and then blend with a makeup brush. It’s perfect! My dermatologist says you should wear a sunscreen with zinc every day on your face and this is what I use. Get you some!
