The peptide behind Revision's firming formulas
Tripeptide-5 is a three-amino-acid chain fitted with a fatty palmitoyl tail, which is what lets it travel through the skin's own lipids instead of stalling at the surface. It is used to support the look of firmness rather than to exfoliate or brighten, so it tends to live in daily-wear products instead of weekly treatments. Revision has put it almost everywhere: DEJ Eye Cream, Nectifirm Advanced, Firming Night Treatment, BodiContour and the whole Intellishade Original SPF 45 tinted family.
Can you use peptides and retinol together?
Generally yes — peptides are not pH-sensitive the way vitamin C is, and several of the products above combine both in one formula. If your skin is adjusting to a retinoid, alternating nights is still the easier route.
How to shop at ELLEMES
Revision is dispensed at our Sandy Springs spa and we buy direct as an authorized retailer, so nothing here has passed through a third-party marketplace.
