How to Use

Step 1: Bathe or shower, then gently pat skin, leaving it slightly damp.
Step 2: Smooth a generous amount over arms, legs and body, massaging until absorbed.
Step 3: Give extra attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees, shins and heels.
Step 4: Use daily. During the day, follow with an EltaMD sunscreen on sun-exposed areas.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Contains fruit enzymes (kiwi, pineapple and fig), farnesol and sodium bisulfite; if you are allergic to any of these, check with your provider before use.

Can I use it on my face?

It's formulated for the body. For the face, EltaMD makes dedicated moisturizers such as AM Restore, PM Restore and Barrier Renewal Complex, which share several of the same ingredients, including niacinamide, ceramides and hyaluronic acid.

Is this the same as Moisture-Rich Body Crème?

Skin Restore Body Cream is EltaMD's current name for the product formerly sold as Moisture-Rich Body Crème, under the same UPC. Ingredient lists can change with a renaming, so check the carton for the current formula.

When is the best time to apply it?

Right after bathing, while skin is still slightly damp. EltaMD says that's when it works best. Reapply to extra-dry spots like elbows, knees and shins whenever they feel tight.

Is it OK for sensitive skin?

Yes. It's fragrance-free, paraben-free and dye-free, and EltaMD lists it for sensitive skin. If you have eczema or another skin condition under treatment, check with your provider, and patch test on a small area first.

Does it have SPF?

No. During the day, follow it on sun-exposed areas with an EltaMD body sunscreen such as UV Sport or UV Lotion. Daily SPF also helps the tone-evening benefits last.

How long does a tube last?

It depends on how much skin you cover. Used daily on arms and legs, an 8 oz tube typically lasts about four to six weeks; full-body use goes faster.
