How is this different from Hydrobiome Mist?

Both support the skin microbiome. Hydrobiome Mist is a hydrating treatment mist built on postbiotic Lactobacillus ferment and grape seed antioxidants. Hydrobiome Serum is a leave-on serum built around TCP and water-soluble vitamin E, aimed specifically at blemish-prone, congested and reactive skin. They layer well: mist first, then serum.

Will it dry out my skin like other acne products?

It isn't designed to. Rather than exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide or retinoids, it works by calming inflammation and supporting the microbiome and barrier. Epicutis reports that no participants in the TCP group of its clinical study reported visible irritation, dryness or discomfort.
