How to Use

Step 1: Dispense 2–3 pumps into clean, dry hands.
Step 2: Massage over dry skin in gentle circular motions to dissolve makeup, sunscreen and daily buildup.
Step 3: Wet your fingertips with a little water and keep massaging until the oil turns milky.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.
Step 5: Use morning and night, then follow with the rest of your routine.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse well with water. Contains hinoki wood oil, which has a natural scent. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Will an oil cleanser leave my skin greasy?

No. Two plant-derived emulsifiers turn the oil into a milky emulsion as soon as you add water, so it rinses away completely without a greasy film. Skin should feel soft and comfortable afterward, not coated.

Can I use it if my skin is oily or breakout-prone?

Yes. Oil dissolves oil, so it lifts sebum, sunscreen and makeup without the harsh surfactants that leave skin tight. Epicutis describes its sunflower and macadamia seed oils as non-comedogenic. If you are very breakout-prone, start with nightly use and see how your skin responds.

Do I need a second cleanser after it?

Not necessarily. Epicutis designed it to cleanse on its own, morning and night. If you like to double cleanse, use it first at night and follow with a water-based cleanser. The Epicutis Cleansing Essentials Set pairs it with Enzyme Exfoliating Powder for a second, exfoliating step.

Is it fragrance-free?

There is no added fragrance in the ingredient list, but it does contain hinoki wood oil, a botanical oil with a light, natural woody scent. If essential oils tend to bother your skin, patch test along the jawline for a few days first.

Where does it fit in my routine?

How long does a bottle last?
