How to Use

Step 1: In the evening, cleanse (Hydrinity recommends PRELUDE Facial Treatment Cleanser) and pat skin completely dry.
Step 2: Remove one pad and sweep it evenly over the face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eyes, lips and any irritated skin.
Step 3: Do not rinse. Let the treatment absorb fully before applying hydrating serum or moisturizer.
Step 4: Use one pad every third evening. If you're new to exfoliating acids or retinal, introduce the pads gradually.
Step 5: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, every morning.

How is this different from RetaXome Daily Retinal Hydrator?

Both use Hydrinity's RetaXome encapsulated retinal. The pads add a five-acid exfoliating blend and an antimicrobial peptide, so they resurface and clear pores as well as renew, and they're used every third evening rather than daily. Hydrinity designed the two to work together, but using both raises your nighttime retinal, so introduce them one at a time.

Are these too strong for sensitive skin?

Hydrinity formulates the pads for all skin types, and its clinical study included people with sensitive skin. Retinal and acids are still active ingredients, so start at every third night (or less often), keep the pads away from irritated or broken skin, and check with your provider if your skin is reactive. The pad solution also contains denatured alcohol, so very dry skin may want extra moisturizer afterward.

Where do the pads go in my routine?

Use them in the evening, right after cleansing; Hydrinity recommends PRELUDE Facial Treatment Cleanser. Sweep one pad over clean, dry skin, don't rinse, and let it absorb before your hydrating serum and moisturizer. On the nights in between, focus on hydration, and wear SPF 30 or higher every morning.
