How to Use

Step 1: Cleanse with a gentle cleanser, such as Hydrinity PRELUDE Facial Treatment Cleanser, and pat skin dry.
Step 2: Dispense a small amount, one to two pumps, onto clean fingertips.
Step 3: Smooth evenly over the face and neck, giving extra attention to areas of visible discoloration.
Step 4: Follow with moisturizer, and finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, every morning.
Step 5: For best results, use morning and evening.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Contains hexylresorcinol and botanical AHAs; if your skin is sensitive, start once a day and build up to twice daily. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Sun exposure can trigger new pigment, so wear sunscreen daily while using this product.

How is VIVID different from HYDRI-C?

VIVID is a targeted treatment serum for discoloration, built on hexylresorcinol, oligopeptide-68 and botanical AHAs. HYDRI-C is a daily moisturizer built around an oil-soluble vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) for antioxidant protection and overall radiance. They work well together: VIVID first, then HYDRI-C, then sunscreen in the morning.

Is it hydroquinone-free, and can I use it for melasma?

Yes, VIVID is hydroquinone-free, and Hydrinity formulates it for all skin types, including melasma-prone skin. Melasma is persistent and easily triggered by sun and heat, so results vary and it usually needs a full plan, including daily broad-spectrum sun protection. Ask your provider about pairing VIVID with in-clinic treatments.

How soon will I see results?

Hydrinity reports a brighter, more even tone at 2 weeks, with hyperpigmentation and overall skin appearance measured at 8 weeks, based on patient-observed results. For dark spots, plan on at least two months of consistent morning and evening use, with sunscreen every day.

Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol?

Generally, yes. Hydrinity recommends introducing actives gradually based on how your skin tolerates them, and wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. If you use a prescription retinoid or hydroquinone, check with your provider about how to layer them.

Is it gentle enough for sensitive skin?

Hydrinity formulates VIVID for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Because it contains hexylresorcinol and botanical AHAs, start once a day if your skin is reactive and build up to twice daily. After a laser, peel or microneedling, wait until your provider clears you to restart brightening actives.
