Both use 20% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and 5% vitamin E in a water-free base. C&E Strength Max is the straightforward maximum-strength formula, with calming bisabolol, aimed at fine lines, stronger and smoother skin and overall tone. C&E Advanced adds hexylresorcinol and silymarin, so it's the better choice when dark spots or irritated skin are the main concern.

Is 20% vitamin C right for me?
