How is this different from Facial Wash?

Facial Wash is a lightly foaming gel with lactic acid for normal, combination and sensitive skin. Creamy Cleanser has no exfoliating acids and adds rose hip and sunflower seed oils, so it's the more hydrating, comforting choice for normal to dry, mature or sensitized skin.

Is it fragrance-free?

There's no added fragrance, but the formula does include lavender essential oil, which some people with very reactive skin or essential-oil sensitivities don't tolerate. If that's you, patch test on your jawline for a few days before using it all over.

Does it remove makeup?

Yes, it removes dirt, debris and everyday makeup. For heavy or waterproof makeup, start with PCA Skin Daily Cleansing Oil, then follow with Creamy Cleanser as your second cleanse.

Can I use it with retinol or after a treatment?

Yes. Because it has no exfoliating acids, it's a comfortable cleanser when you're using retinoids or your skin feels dry after a peel or laser. Always follow your provider's post-treatment instructions on when to restart products.

Will it work for oily skin?

It's designed for normal to dry skin, so very oily or breakout-prone skin may prefer Facial Wash Oily/Problem. Combination skin can use it in the evening or during drier months.
