How to Use

Step 1: Moisten the enclosed sponge and work the bar into a rich, foaming lather.
Step 2: Cleanse the face or affected areas of the body, leaving the lather on the skin for about two minutes.
Step 3: Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Step 4: Follow with a PCA Skin treatment serum, then a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning or a moisturizer in the evening.
Step 5: Store the sponge outside the container so it can dry between uses.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Mild tingling can occur. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily while treating discoloration.

How do I get the most out of Pigment Bar?

Moisten the enclosed sponge, work up a foaming lather and massage it over the area you're treating. PCA recommends leaving the lather on the skin for about two minutes before rinsing with warm water, which gives the brightening ingredients time to work. Follow with a PCA Skin treatment serum, then moisturizer at night or a broad-spectrum SPF during the day.

Can I use it on my body?

Yes. PCA made Pigment Bar for discoloration anywhere on the body, including the face and scalp, so it works well for sun spots on the chest, shoulders, back and hands. Store the sponge outside the container so it can dry between uses.

How is this different from Pigment Gel HQ Free?

Pigment Bar is a cleanser: it works during a short contact time, rinses off and is easy to use over large areas of the body. Pigment Gel HQ Free is a leave-on serum that stays on the skin for a more concentrated treatment. Many clients use both, cleansing with the bar and then applying the gel as their treatment step.

Is it OK for sensitive skin?

PCA calls it gentle enough for everyday use, but it is a soap-based bar with brightening acids and rosewood oil, so very dry or reactive skin may feel tight or tingly. Start once a day, shorten the two-minute contact time if needed and follow with a moisturizer. Patch test first if your skin is very sensitive, and stop using it if irritation develops.

How soon will I see results?

Discoloration fades gradually. Expect to need several weeks of consistent daily use, ideally alongside a leave-on brightening treatment, before tone looks more even. Unprotected sun exposure can undo progress quickly, so daily broad-spectrum SPF matters as much as the cleanser.
