How to Use

Step 1: Cleanse (and tone, if you use a toner).
Step 2: Close your eyes and mouth.

Step 4: In the morning, follow with a vitamin C serum and broad-spectrum sunscreen. In the evening, follow with a corrective product or moisturizer.
Step 5: Use twice daily, and reapply throughout the day on bare skin or over makeup.

How is this different from Phyto Corrective Gel?

Both use soothing botanicals to calm visible redness. Essence Mist is a light, touch-free spray you can reapply all day, even over makeup. Phyto Corrective Gel is a leave-on gel serum that stays on the skin as a treatment step. They layer well: mist after cleansing, then the gel.

Can I use it after laser or other treatments?

Yes. SkinCeuticals tested it with a variety of non-invasive treatments. In its split-face study after non-ablative fractional laser, the mist was applied right after the procedure and twice daily for a week, and it reduced visible redness. Always follow your provider's post-treatment instructions.

Can I spray it over makeup?

Yes. Close your eyes and mouth and mist from about six inches away. SkinCeuticals measured a 59% boost in hydration one hour after applying it over makeup.

Does it contain fragrance?
