How to Use

Step 1: Cleanse skin and pat dry.
Step 2: Wipe one pad over the face, avoiding the eye area.
Step 3: Allow skin to dry before applying treatment products such as Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Treatment.
Step 4: Use daily, morning or night, or as tolerated.
Step 5: In the morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Caution: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How are the pads different from Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Treatment?

The pads are an exfoliating prep step: glycolic acid smooths texture while the brightening complex goes to work, and they help skin absorb what comes next. Even & Correct Advanced is the leave-on daily brightening serum. They're designed to work together: swipe a pad after cleansing, let it dry, then apply the serum.

Can I use them every day?

Yes. SkinMedica designed them for daily use, morning or night, as tolerated. If you're new to glycolic acid or have sensitive skin, start once a day or every other day and build up.

Will they sting or dry out my skin?

They're alcohol-free and use witch hazel water, which is gentler than alcohol. Glycolic acid can cause a mild tingle, especially on freshly shaved or irritated skin. Avoid the eye area and cut back if you notice redness or dryness.

Do I need sunscreen while using them?

Yes. Glycolic acid is an AHA that can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure while using the pads and for a week after you stop.

Can I use them with retinol or other exfoliants?

The pads are retinol-free and hydroquinone-free, so they pair well with many routines. If you also use retinol, prescription retinoids or another acid cleanser, consider using the pads in the morning and your retinoid at night, and check with your provider about pregnancy or prescription use.

How long does a jar last?
