How to Use

Step 1: Moisten your face, and your neck and chest if desired, with lukewarm water.
Step 2: Work a small amount of cleanser into a lather between your hands.
Step 3: Gently massage over damp skin, avoiding the eye area.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.
Step 5: Use morning and evening as the first step in your routine, then follow with serum, moisturizer and, in the morning, sunscreen.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Contains fragrance. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How is this different from the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser?

Facial Cleanser is a non-exfoliating daily wash: it removes oil, makeup and pollutants and leaves skin hydrated. The AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser adds acids and jojoba beads to smooth texture and refine pores. Many clients use Facial Cleanser every day and switch to AHA/BHA a few times a week. If your skin runs dry, the HA5 Hydrating Foaming Cleanser is the more cushioning option.

Is it good for oily or combination skin?

Yes. SkinMedica designed it for all skin types. The foaming gel removes excess oil and makeup thoroughly, and its pH-balanced formula with pro-vitamin B5 keeps skin from feeling stripped, which helps oily and combination skin stay balanced rather than overcompensating.

Does it remove makeup and sunscreen?

It removes everyday makeup and sunscreen well. Keep it away from the eye area, and use a dedicated eye makeup remover for waterproof mascara. If you wear heavy or long-wear makeup, a double cleanse (remover first, then Facial Cleanser) gives the cleanest result.

Is it fragrance-free?

No. The formula contains fragrance plus two cosmetic colorants (Blue 1 and Yellow 10). Most clients tolerate it well, but if fragrance tends to irritate your skin, patch test on the jawline for a few days first or ask us about a fragrance-free alternative.

Can I use it after a treatment at ELLEMES?

Because it is gentle, pH-balanced and non-exfoliating, it often fits into recovery routines once your provider clears you to cleanse normally. Always follow your post-treatment instructions first, and ask us if you're unsure which cleanser to use after a laser, peel or microneedling.

How long does a tube last?
