Vitamin C+E Complex is an antioxidant serum for daytime defense and brightness. SkinMedica's directions place it after your TNS treatment in the morning and before moisturizer.

Will vitamin C irritate my skin?

Most skin types tolerate it well, and it contains soothing bisabolol and no added fragrance. Pure ascorbic acid can cause a brief tingle, especially on sensitive skin or right after exfoliating. If you're reactive, start every other morning and build up, and stop if irritation persists.

Can I use it with retinol or exfoliating acids?

Yes, by splitting them up. Use Vitamin C+E Complex in the morning and retinol or exfoliating acids at night. Applying strong acids and vitamin C at the same time can increase tingling on sensitive skin.

Do I still need sunscreen?
