How to Use

Step 1: On first use, prime the airless pump by pressing until product dispenses.
Step 2: Apply liberally to the face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure, as the last step of your morning routine.
Step 3: Wear alone or under makeup.
Step 4: Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every 2 hours.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: ask a physician.

Warnings: For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask a physician if rash occurs. If product is swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Keep out of reach of children.

How is this different from EltaMD UV Clear Tinted?

UV Clear Tinted SPF 46 is built for acne-prone skin, with niacinamide and a zinc oxide plus octinoxate filter system. UV AOX Elements is 100% mineral, adds an antioxidant system for UV, infrared and blue-light defense, and is designed for sensitive, dry and post-procedure skin. Choose UV Clear for breakouts and AOX Elements for sensitivity or after treatments.

Can I use it after a laser or peel?

EltaMD formulated it to be gentle enough for sensitive skin, even post-procedure, which makes it a common choice for aftercare. Follow your provider's timing, and don't apply it to broken or open skin until it has closed.

Will the tint match my skin tone?

It has one universal tint from iron oxides, designed to complement and enhance a diverse range of skin tones. EltaMD describes it as medium coverage with a dewy finish that blurs imperfections and evens skin tone. If you are very fair or very deep, try it on your jawline before wearing it all over.
