How to Use

Step 1: Apply a dime-sized amount to damp skin.
Step 2: Massage into a foaming lather using gentle circular motions, concentrating on the T-zone.
Step 3: Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Step 4: Follow with toner, treatment serums and moisturizer, and a broad-spectrum sunscreen in the daytime. Use morning and night.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Contains alpha and polyhydroxy acids, so use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.

How is this different from the regular Facial Wash?

Both are lightly foaming PCA Skin cleansers with lactic acid. Facial Wash Oily/Problem adds gluconolactone, a PHA, for extra purifying exfoliation and is made for oily, breakout-prone skin. Facial Wash adds aloe vera, allantoin and willow bark extract and is designed for normal, combination and sensitive skin.

Is it an acne treatment?

It's a cosmetic cleanser, not a medicated acne wash, so it contains no salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. PCA Skin formulated it to gently exfoliate and purify oily, breakout-prone skin. If you have active breakouts, follow it with a targeted treatment such as PCA Skin Acne Gel, and see a provider for persistent or cystic acne.

Will it dry out my skin?

It's designed to cleanse deeply without stripping. Gluconolactone, glycerin and aloe vera help keep skin comfortable. If your skin feels tight, especially when you're also using retinoids or other exfoliants, cut back to once a day and make sure you're using a moisturizer.

Can I use it with retinol or acne treatments?
