Step 1: Cleanse and tone, ideally with the EltaMD Skin Recovery Amino Acid Foaming Cleanser and Essence Toner.

Step 4: Follow with moisturizer, and with a broad-spectrum facial sunscreen in the morning.
Step 5: Use every morning and evening. For optimal results, use with the entire Skin Recovery System.

The toner is a hydrating, pH-balancing prep step with AAComplex and malachite extract. The serum is the treatment step: twice the AAComplex concentration plus hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, vitamin E and centella asiatica, aimed squarely at visible redness and barrier repair. They're designed to be used together, toner first and then serum.
