How to Use

Step 1: Cleanse, tone and apply your treatment serums and moisturizer as usual.
Step 2: Apply Weightless Protection liberally to the face, neck and other exposed skin 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Step 3: Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
Step 4: Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.

Caution: For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. When using this product, keep out of eyes; rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask a doctor if skin rash occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.

How is Weightless Protection different from Hydrator Plus SPF 30?

Weightless Protection is PCA Skin's lightweight, fast-absorbing option with a higher SPF 45, suited to normal, combination, oily and acne-prone skin. Hydrator Plus SPF 30 is the most hydrating formula, made for dry skin, and Sheer Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is a purely physical, universally tinted, water-resistant option.

Will it feel greasy on oily skin?

It's designed not to. PCA Skin describes the formula as lightweight and says it disappears into the skin, which is why it's recommended for normal, combination, oily and acne-prone skin. If you're very breakout-prone, introduce any new product on its own for a week or two and watch how your skin responds.

Is this a mineral sunscreen?

It's a hybrid. Zinc oxide (8.4%) is a mineral filter, paired with two chemical filters, octisalate (4.9%) and octocrylene (1.9%). If you want a purely physical sunscreen, PCA Skin Sheer Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is the mineral-only option.

Is it water resistant?

No. The label directs you to use a water-resistant sunscreen if you are swimming or sweating. For everyday wear, reapply at least every two hours, and again after toweling off or a workout.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. Because it's lightweight and fast-absorbing, it layers easily. Apply it as the last step of your skincare, give it a few minutes to set, then apply makeup as usual. Remember that makeup alone doesn't replace reapplying sunscreen.

How long does a tube last?

Used every morning on the face and neck at the recommended amount, a 1.7 fl oz tube lasts roughly four to six weeks. Reapplying during the day uses it faster, and that's a good sign you're using enough.
